Authorities ID inmate who died in Boulder County jail
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of a 69-year-old inmate who died in the Boulder County jail.
The Daily Camera reports jail staff found Perry Vockrodt, of Loveland, unconscious Saturday and tried to revive him with CPR and an automated defibrillator. Sheriff’s officials say the man appears to have suffered an “acute medical issue,” but the coroner will determine the official cause and manner of death.
Vockrodt was booked into the jail Saturday on arrest warrants for theft, DUI, leaving the scene of a crash and other traffic offenses out of Larimer County.
