Badgers men’s hockey gameday: Follow Game 5 at Merrimack

October 14, 2017 GMT

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — The 10th-ranked University of Wisconsin men’s hockey team has three new forward lines for its game at Merrimack on Saturday (6 p.m., no TV, 1070 AM).

Only the fourth line of Jason Ford centering Max Zimmer and Matthew Freytag is the same as in Friday’s 5-2 victory over Boston College.

Matt Ustaski is in the lineup alongside first-line center Trent Frederic and Ryan Wagner. It’s the first time in five games this season that Frederic and Wagner haven’t been on the same line as Linus Weissbach. Dan Labosky is out of UW’s lineup.

Merrimack stands to be the fresher team since it didn’t play Friday while the Badgers were at BC. We’ll see how that impacts things, especially toward the final period.
