Lucero named Stamford superintendent unanimously by school board
STAMFORD — It is official: Tamu Lucero is Stamford’s superintendent of schools.
The Board of Education voted unanimously to accept the resignation of outgoing Superintendent Earl Kim at their Tuesday night meeting. They then, unanimously, voted to appoint Lucero as the new leader of the school district.
The school board announced their intentions in advance of the regular monthly meeting in an email sent by the district late Tuesday afternoon.
