SCC to hold talent show

May 9, 2018

Southeast Community College students, faculty and staff will be “Stormin’ the Stage” with their skills at the College’s Talent Showcase later this month.

“Stormin’ the Stage” will take place May 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Truman Center on SCC’s Beatrice Campus. Admission is $5 at the door (cash or checks).

This is the second year for the talent show featuring students, faculty and staff from all three campuses. It will feature various acts such as ballroom dancing, piano, yodeling, poetry reading, comedy improve, rap music and songs from Motown among other things.

“It’s a time to support colleagues and see them in a different light,” said Dr. Jon Gruett, SCC music instructor and coordinator of the talent show.

More than 30 people will take part in the talent show. Each night will feature different performers.
