Darlington County sheriff swears in two new employees

DARLINGTON, S.C. – Darlington County Sheriff Tony Chavis welcomed two new employees Monday morning as David Self and LaToya Williams were sworn in.

Self is a new deputy. He is a native of Darlington and previously served with the North Charleston Police Department.

Self will be assigned to the patrol division under the command of Lt. Michael Hall.

Williams will serve as an administrative records technician. She comes the Darlington County E-911 Dispatch Center. She previously served with Marlboro County E-911 and Scotland County E-911.
