Sarah Levison Campaign Finance Violations Hearing in Longmont Rescheduled

April 5, 2018 GMT

The continuation of the hearing over former Longmont mayoral candidate Sarah Levison’s alleged violation of the city’s campaign finance reporting requirements — and whether she should have to pay $16,000 in fines for those violations — has been rescheduled to 1 p.m. April 23, according to City Clerk Valeria Skitt.

The hearing before Municipal Judge Robert Frick began on March 27 and was to have resumed this week, on Monday, but was reset because Levison’s attorney reportedly had a scheduling conflict.

Levison is contesting Skitt’s finding that Levison violated provisions of the city code about filing electioneering communications distributed to potential voters.
