AURORA, Ill. (AP) — The suburban Chicago manufacturing warehouse where five people were fatally shot won't reopen until next week, but its doors will be open to support workers, company officials said Monday.
The Henry Pratt Co. facility in Aurora, Illinois, will be open any employees who want to spend time with colleagues and counselors will be available, spokeswoman Yolanda Kokayi said. She said the warehouse tentatively won't return to full production until Feb. 25.

AURORA, Ore. (AP) — Authorities say a pilot and passenger suffered minor injuries when a Piper Malibu Mirage crash landed south of Portland in Aurora.
Marion County Sheriff's Lt. Chris Baldridge says deputies were called to the Aurora Airport at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday.
Baldrige says initial investigation shows that the pilot was trying to land the plane when it struck a radio antenna, sending the plane into the ground.

In addition to the felony charges, Tanye M. McNeal of Aurora is charged with misdemeanor counts of domestic battery.
Aurora police say a woman observed McNeal dragging a 5-year-old boy by the hair while inside Rush Copley Medical Center on Monday. The woman recorded the incident on her cellphone and called police.

The Kane County Health Department and the Kane County coroner's office said this week that the child died Dec. 21 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora.
The Daily Herald and WLS-TV report it's the first confirmed flu-related death in Illinois during the current influenza season.

Thirty-seven-year-old Capt. Herbert Reiss, 48-year-old Capt. John Petersohn and 35-year-old firefighter Charles Hoffman died when an exterior wall collapsed on them as they fought the large fire at the Woolworth 5 & 10 store.
