Hill shines again as Coyotes beat Kings 2-1 for 4th straight
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Credit the Arizona Coyotes' four-game winning streak to rookie goaltender Adin Hill. Or maybe newly acquired center Nick Schmaltz.
Either way, the Coyotes are getting the best out of the two 22-year-olds and it is resulting in victories.
Schmaltz had a power-play goal, Hill made 25 saves and Arizona beat the Los Angeles Kings 2-1 on Tuesday night for its fourth straight win.
Four-goal second period sends Coyotes past Blues, 6-1
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Nick Schmaltz is turning out to be the kind of player the Arizona Coyotes hoped he'd be when they traded two former first-round picks for him.
And, 22-year-old Adin Hill has been stellar in net.
The two helped the Arizona Coyotes overpower the St. Louis Blues 6-1 on Saturday night. Schmaltz had two assists and has three points in three games since coming over from Chicago, and Hill has stopped 59 of 60 shots in Arizona's last three games, including 25 saves on Saturday.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Coyotes captain Oliver Ekman-Larsson made sure Adin Hill took home a souvenir from his first NHL shutout.
Nick Schmaltz had a goal and an assist, Hill made 29 saves and Arizona beat the Nashville Predators 3-0 on Thursday night.
Clayton Keller and Brad Richardson scored the other goals in Arizona's second straight victory. Schmaltz's two points were his first since being acquired Sunday in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Goligoski, Hill lift Coyotes over Kings 4-3 in shootout
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Adin Hill found out via text message on his way to Gila River Arena that he was starting in net Tuesday night. Hours later, he finished his day on a high note.
Alex Goligoski scored the decisive goal in the fifth round of a shootout and Hill ended the game with a save on high-scoring center Tyler Toffoli, earning his first NHL win for the Arizona Coyotes in their 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.
Michael Houser had his best game of the season thus far, stopping 22 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Cyclones on Friday night, and less than a day later he was called up to Tucson of the American Hockey League.
Houser is the first player to be called up to Tucson through the Komets' first-year affiliation with the NHL's Arizona Coyotes, who have quite a difficult-to-decipher goaltending situation.
