Logano and Harvick lead Ford sweeps in Daytona qualifying
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano won the Daytona 500 qualifying races in a pair of Ford sweeps that have the new Mustang positioned for a strong showing in "The Great American Race."
Harvick won the first of the 150-mile qualifying races Thursday night that set the field for NASCAR's showcase event. Logano used a last-lap pass for the lead in the second one.
Byron wins Daytona 500 pole, puts Hendrick up front again
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — William Byron put Hendrick Motorsports in a familiar position: on the pole for the Daytona 500. His bigger goal is to make the starting spot pay dividends for the NASCAR powerhouse.
The 21-year-old Byron and 25-year-old teammate Alex Bowman locked in the front row for "The Great American Race" during qualifying laps Sunday at Daytona International Speedway. They comprise the youngest front row in Daytona 500 history.

Keselowski finally made the pass coming down the front straightaway and pulled away to win by 0.904 seconds over Erik Jones. Hamlin was third 1.703 seconds behind.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Chase Elliott turned a lap of 194.045 mph to win the pole at Daytona International Speedway and give sagging Chevrolet a much-needed boost.
Elliott, who sprained his right ankle earlier this week "horsing around in the pool," had won two poles at the Daytona 500. He starts from the top Saturday night as the Hendrick Motorsports driver goes for his first career win.
Larson wins 5th career pole, Harvick also up front at Dover
DOVER, Del. (AP) — Kyle Larson had a good week with some nice drives.
Larson enjoyed playing in a PGA Tour Pro-Am, then turned a lap of 158.103 mph on Friday to take the pole at Dover International Speedway. In winning his fifth career pole, he gave Chevrolet a needed boost and its first pole since Alex Bowman took the top spot at the Daytona 500 back in February.
