Brewers get durable lefty reliever Claudio from Rangers
LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers have added another reliever to their strong bullpen, getting durable left-hander Alex Claudio from the Texas Rangers for a draft pick.
The NL Central champion Brewers made the trade Thursday at the winter meetings.
Claudio was 4-2 with a 4.48 ERA and one save in 65 relief appearances and one start this year. He has a 13-6 record with 12 saves and a 3.20 ERA in 206 relief appearances and two starts in five big league seasons.

A person with direct knowledge of the agreement says free agent right-hander Lance Lynn and the Texas Rangers have reached a deal on a $30 million, three-year contract.
The deal is pending a physical, says the person, who was speaking on condition of anonymity because the contract isn't complete.

Jurickson Profar hit a tiebreaking RBI single in the ninth, and the Rangers handed the Astros another difficult loss by rallying for a 3-2 win on Tuesday night.
Rougned Odor helped set up Profar's clutch swing when he reached on a wild pitch after striking out with one out. He swiped second and scored on Elvis Andrus' two-out triple against Ken Giles (2-4).

DENVER (AP) — Adrian Beltre hit a two-run double, Elvis Andrus added a tiebreaking single and the Texas Rangers scored four runs in the eighth inning to beat the Colorado Rockies 7-5 on Tuesday.
The AL West leaders had five hits in the inning and handed Colorado another tough loss in the two-game sweep. The late-game rally came after the Rangers scored three times in the ninth to beat the Rockies 4-3 on Monday night.
