WHAT'S AT STAKE?
Wisconsin's playoff hopes are in trouble after last week's upset loss to BYU at home, and losing to the Hawkeyes would be like pulling the plug. For Iowa, a win over the Badgers would be the biggest indicator yet that the Hawkeyes might have a chance to steal the West division back from Wisconsin.
Time to move on for No. 18 Wisconsin with trip to Iowa next
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — This is no time to sulk at Wisconsin.
The upset loss to BYU might still sting, but the 18th-ranked Badgers must move on. Beating Iowa this weekend to open Big Ten play would sure give Wisconsin a lift.
"You don't ever want to rely on losing as a source to go win. That's never going to end well," offensive lineman Michael Deiter said. "But if you do have hiccups ... it should be a feeling that you never want to feel again."
Replenished on offense, No. 6 Wisconsin hosts BYU
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The offense is nearly back to full strength at No. 6 Wisconsin.
Tight end Zander Neuville returned last week from injury. Receiver Danny Davis is due back from suspension on Saturday when BYU visits Camp Randall Stadium.
Two more targets for quarterback Alex Hornibrook — and that's not even counting perhaps the best call in the Badgers' playbook: a handoff to FBS rushing leader Jonathan Taylor.
Taylor scores twice, No. 4 Wisconsin beats W. Kentucky
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Jonathan Taylor took the handoff and went left as the Wisconsin offensive line and three tight ends cleared a path to the end zone.
The dynamic back waited patiently for the holes and weaved through traffic. The closest any defender got to tackling Taylor was when defensive back Kyle Bailey reached out but could only tug at his jersey.
For openers, not a bad start for the fourth-ranked Badgers and their star tailback.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The big guys are front and center at Wisconsin.

The line is tough, physical and agile in typical Wisconsin fashion, and all five starters are back.
Wisconsin capable of airing it out with Hornibrook at QB
