Doege’s 2 TDs rally Bowling Green to a 21-6 win over Akron
AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Jarret Doege threw for two touchdowns and Rico Frye ran for a third as Bowling Green won its second straight road game, knocking off Akron 21-6 on Saturday.
The back-to-back road victories are the first for the Falcons since they beat Purdue and Buffalo in 2015. Bowling Green now has beaten the Zips in nine of the last 10 meetings and is 17-8 all-time in the series.
Bowling Green rallies to beat Central Michigan 24-13
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) — Jarret Doege threw for a touchdown, Andrew Clair ran for a score and Bowling Green cashed in on an on-side kick and a turnover to beat Central Michigan 24-13 on Saturday.
Trailing 13-0 at halftime, the Falcons scored on Andrew Clair's 29-yard run, recovered the ensuing on-side kick and pulled ahead 14-13 six plays later when Doege hit Dorian Hendrix on a 2-yard pass.
Toback’s 3 TDs lead Toledo past Bowling Green 52-36
TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Eli Peters threw for three touchdowns, Bryant Koback ran for three scores and Toledo used the fourth quarter to distance itself from Bowling Green 52-36 on Saturday.
It was the Rockets' ninth-straight win in their series against Bowling Green.
Leading 31-28 entering the fourth, Koback had touchdown runs of 7, 5 and 21 yards in a 6-½-minute span for a 52-28 lead with 3:10 left to play.
Jarret with 4 TDs, Bowling Green beats E. Kentucky 42-35
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) — Jarret Doege threw four touchdown passes and Bowling Green beat Eastern Kentucky 42-35 on Saturday afternoon.
Trailing 35-34 late in the fourth quarter, Deric Phouthavong made a diving, one-handed catch with one foot in-bounds for an 18-yard gain that led to Doege's 7-yard scoring throw to Quintin Morris three plays later. Doege made good on the 2-point conversion pass, sending the Falcons (1-2) ahead 42-35 with 6:47 left.

KENT, Ohio (AP) — Jarret Doege threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, Andrew Clair surpassed 100 yards rushing for the fourth straight game and the two freshmen led Bowling Green to a 44-16 win over Kent State on Tuesday night.
Childers leads way for N. Illinois over Bowling Green 48-17
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) — Marcus Childers threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns and added 73 yards rushing and Northern Illinois beat Bowling Green 48-17 on Saturday.
Tommy Mister had 17 carries for 115 yards and a score, and Chad Beebe had six catches for 124 yards and a touchdown for Northern Illinois (5-2, 3-0 Mid-American Conference).
