WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — The Winnipeg Jets are seeing the benefits of Mark Scheifele's hard work.
Scheifele, the Jets' top-line center, scored twice and added an assist as Winnipeg defeated the New York Rangers 4-3 Tuesday night.
Scheifele has a team-leading 30 goals in 57 games, two goals away from his career high reached in 79 games in 2016-17. He has 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists) in his past 17 games.
Roslovic gets 1st hat trick, Jets rout Ducks 9-3
WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Jack Roslovic is glad he's a quick healer.
Roslovic had his first career hat trick as the Winnipeg Jets scored a franchise-record six goals in the first period on their way to a 9-3 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.
Roslovic had left the morning skate because of cramps and was a game-time decision. But the third-year forward rebounded to score three power-play goals and add an assist.
Wheeler, Scheifele help Jets beat Avalanche 7-4
WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — All that Winnipeg firepower was on full display Tuesday night.
Blake Wheeler had a goal and three assists as the Jets scored on 33 percent of their shots in a 7-4 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.
Mathieu Perreault, Kyle Connor, Bryan Little, Andrew Copp, Mark Scheifele and Jacob Trouba also scored for Winnipeg, which converted three of four power-play opportunities. Trouba, Scheifele and Tyler Myers each had two assists.
Lemieux scores twice, Jets end year with 4-3 win over Oilers
EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — In one game, Brendan Lemieux doubled his NHL goal total.
Lemieux scored twice to give him four career goals and the Winnipeg Jets ended 2018 on an upbeat note, defeating the slumping Edmonton Oilers 4-3 Monday night.
The 22-year-old son of former NHL star Claude Lemieux entered with two goals in 31 games.

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Dustin Byfuglien returned to the Winnipeg lineup and helped carry the Jets to a victory.
The defenseman had a goal and two assists in a 4-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday night after missing the previous two games with an upper-body injury.
"I thought we put together a decent game," said Byfuglien, who had his first goal of the season. "It's nice to be back and we got our two points."

The 24-year-old Commerce, Michigan, goalie made 30 saves to pick up his 44th win (44-11-9), surpassing Tom Barrasso's 1992-93 run with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators say forward Calle Jarnkrok will miss the rest of the regular season with an upper-body injury.
The Predators updated Jarnkrok's status Thursday .
Jarnkrok was hurt Tuesday night in a 3-1 win over Winnipeg when checked by Jets forward Andrew Copp during the third period. Jarnkrok went to the locker room and was seen wearing a sling around his right arm leaving the arena.

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Blake Wheeler scored three of Winnipeg's five goals in the first period and the Jets routed the Pittsburgh Penguins 7-1 on Sunday night.
Brendan Lemieux scored his first career goal for Winnipeg on a slap shot from the point at 12:20 of the third. The son of Claude Lemieux made his NHL debut Oct. 20.
Andrew Copp, Joel Armia and Mark Scheifele also scored for the Jets, who chased Matt Murray early.

Brent Burns, Logan Couture and Melker Karlsson also scored for the Sharks, and Aaron Dell stopped 31 shots in his ninth appearance of the season.

Getzlaf, Bernier lift Ducks over Jets 3-2
WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Ryan Getzlaf has seen the future. And it's on the power play.
Getzlaf scored a man-advantage goal in the third period, Jonathan Bernier stopped 31 shots and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 on Monday night.
"Special teams is one of the biggest things in our league now. It's the way the game is headed," Getzlaf said. "You've got to be sharp in those areas."

CHICAGO (AP) — Barely 2 minutes after narrowly missing a goal that could have put the game away, Andrew Copp came right back and scored an even bigger one.
Copp got the tiebreaking goal with 4:45 left, Bryan Little scored his third in three games and the Winnipeg Jets edged the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 on Sunday night.
Copp beat Scott Darling stick side with a shot from the right circle that slipped just inside the left post and gave Winnipeg its second consecutive victory and fourth in five games.
