WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Travis Weatherington had a season-high 22 points as Hartford topped Maine 81-73 on Wednesday night.
J.R. Lynch had 19 points and eight assists for Hartford (13-12, 6-4 America East Conference). Jason Dunne added 15 points. George Blagojevic had 12 points and seven rebounds for the home team.

Jackson leads UMBC past Maine 67-66
BANGOR, Maine (AP) — KJ Jackson scored 22 points as Maryland-Baltimore County narrowly beat Maine 67-66 on Sunday. Joe Sherburne added 21 points for the Retrievers. Sherburne also had nine rebounds for the Retrievers.
Maine's Dennis Ashley hit a 3-pointer with five seconds left to make it 67-64. A steal and layup by Vincent Eze cut the lead to a point with 1.4 seconds remaining but the Retrievers were able to inbound the ball to end the game.
Vermont beats Maine for 16 straight time, wins 86-63
BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Ernie Duncan scored 26 points, Anthony Lamb added 24 and Vermont routed Maine 86-63 on Wednesday night.
The Catamounts (18-5, 8-1 America East Conference) have beaten Maine (5-19, 3-6) in 16 consecutive games, their longest active winning streak against a conference opponent. The last Black Bears win over Vermont was a 71-68 victory at home on Jan. 22, 2013.
Mathews leads potent Lipscomb attack in 102-80 ASUN win
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Garrison Mathews scored 19 points, leading six Lipscomb players in double-digit scoring and the Bisons shot 62 percent for the game, topping North Alabama 102-80 on Saturday to remain unbeaten in Atlantic Sun play.

Stewarts scores career-high 26; Binghamton beats Maine 78-66
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) — Caleb Stewart had a career-high 26 points to go with 11 rebounds as Binghamton pulled away in the last five minutes to beat Maine 78-66 on Saturday.
Stewart had five points in the Bearcats' 14-4 closing run, and made a free throw with 19.1 seconds left for his 1,000th career point. Stewart scored a previous career-best 22 points in an 85-79 loss against UMass Lowell on Wednesday night.
El Darwich scores 26 as Maine beats Albany 66-62
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Sergio El Darwich scored 26 points on 9-of-13 shooting and Maine held on for a rare win against Albany beating the Great Danes 66-62 on Saturday.
Albany entered the game having beaten Maine five straight times and in 15 of their last 17 meetings.
Duncan scores 11 to lead Vermont over Maine 73-49
BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Robin Duncan posted 11 points as Vermont rolled past Maine 73-49 on Wednesday night.
Anthony Lamb had 11 points for Vermont (12-4, 2-0 America East Conference). Samuel Dingba added three blocks.
Sergio El Darwich had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Black Bears (2-15, 0-2), whose losing streak stretched to six games. Isaiah White added 10 points. Andrew Fleming had five assists.
UMBC comes back to beat Maine in America East opener
BALTIMORE (AP) — Brandon Horvath scored 13 points, Daniel Akin added 12 with eight rebounds and UMBC came back from a 13-point second-half deficit to beat Maine 61-52 in an American East opener on Saturday.
UMBC (9-7), opening defense of its conference title, scored the final eight points as the Black Bears went scoreless over the final 5:45.
Lipscomb shoots 60 percent, routs D-III Covenant 119-48
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Garrison Mathews scored 22 points, John Matt Merritt added 21 and Lipscomb routed Division III Covenant 119-48 on Monday night.
Lipscomb (8-3) has won two of its last three including a 107-81 victory against Navy.
Mathews scored 16 points in the first half and the Bisons led 59-14. Merritt scored all 21 on 8-of-9 shooting in the second half. The duo each made three of the Bisons' 12 3-pointers.

ORONO, Maine (AP) — Taylor Johnson poured in a career-high 29 points on 11-of-13 shooting from the floor and Dartmouth turned back Maine 73-66 on Friday night to pick up its first road win of the season.

Smith, Leissner lead New Hampshire to sweep of Maine, 64-51
DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — Jaleen Smith and Tanner Leissner combined to score 41 points and New Hampshire swept its America East Conference series with Maine with a 64-51 victory Wednesday night.
The Wildcats now have won back-to-back games after snapping a four-game losing skid with a win over Binghamton Sunday. New Hampshire plays two of its three remaining regular season games at home.
Maine snaps 7-game skid with 52-41 win over Hartford
BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Andrew Fleming scored 11 points, hauled in eight rebounds and Maine held Hartford to just 12 field goals Monday night in a 52-41 win that snapped a seven-game losing skid for the Black Bears.
Trailing 21-20 at the break, Maine overtook Hartford for good with Fleming's jumper that made it 25-24 with 16:53 left and then steadily pulled away. Vincent Eze's basket about 10 minutes later gave Maine its largest margin of the game, 42-30.
Central Connecticut State cruises past Maine 82-61
ORONO, Maine (AP) — Khalen Cumberlander scored 13 points and had five assists as Central Connecticut State cruised to an 82-61 victory over Maine on Wednesday night.
The 21-point margin of victory was the largest for CCSU (2-3) since beating Bryant 83-51 in Dec. 2011. The Blue Devils snapped a three-game skid.
