TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Pop star Enrique Iglesias misses his newborn twins "like crazy." But he says performing for his fans is the next best thing to being home.
While the Spanish singer has traditionally kept his personal life private, he and his wife, former tennis player Anna Kournikova, took to social media last week to share some rare photos and videos of themselves and their children. He said he wanted to open up to his fans because they have given him so much.
Anna Kournikova kept her pregnancy a secret by staying "very undercover".
The 36-year-old former tennis player and her partner Enrique Iglesias, 42, are said to have become parents to twins, a boy, Nicholas, and a girl, Lucy, over the weekend, after managing to keep her pregnancy "completely secret".
A source said: "I saw her cute belly. A friend told me like five months ago [that] they were pregnant but keeping it very, very undercover.
Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have reportedly welcomed twins into the world.
The 42-year-old Spanish singer-songwriter and the former tennis star are believed to have become the proud parents of twins, one boy and one girl, who were born over the weekend.
According to TMZ.com, the babies are named Nicholas and Lucy, and Anna gave birth to the tots - who mark the first children for the pair - on Saturday (16.12.17) in Miami.
Enrique Iglesias has never introduced his girlfriend Anna Kournikova to his dad.
The 42-year-old singer has been dating the former tennis star since 2001, but because the blonde beauty and Enrique's chart-topping dad Julio are rarely in the same country at the same time, they have never come face to face.
The dark-haired hunk confessed: "They still haven't met, no. They have to meet at some point."
