Seguin's second goal of the game 3:37 into overtime lifted the Stars to a 2-1 victory over the Washington Capitals.
Anton Khudobin made 36 saves, 31 after the first period. Included were seven saves on two third-period Washington power plays and the stop of a backhand by T.J. Oshie 1 1/2 minutes into overtime.
Khudobin stopped 30-goal scorer Alex Ovechkin six times.

DALLAS (AP) — Pierre-Luc Dubois thought he had a tiebreaking goal for Columbus in the third period before Dallas goalie Anton Khudobin came up with a big save. Seconds later, Dubois had another chance and made it count.
Dubois scored midway through the third period and the Blue Jackets beat the Stars 2-1 on Monday night.
"(Khudobin) made a really nice save. (You) hope you have it back," Dubois said.

DALLAS (AP) — Devin Shore believes in linemate Tyler Seguin — and in the hockey concept of puck luck.
Shore scored his second goal of the game to break a tie, Anton Khudobin tied a season high with 33 saves and the Dallas Stars beat the San Jose Sharks 4-3 on Thursday night.
Dillon Heatherington's shot from the left point went off a defender's leg to Shore in the left circle, and he beat Sharks goalie Martin Jones with 5:47 to play.
Marchand scores in OT to lift Bruins over Stars 2-1
BOSTON (AP) — Brad Marchand had very little room and not much time.
He got the right bounce.
Marchand banked home a power-play goal off the far post from the bottom of the right circle 4:29 into overtime, lifting the Boston Bruins over the Dallas Stars 2-1 on Monday night.
"I heard it," he said. "I didn't know where it went. I heard the crowd erupt."
David Pastrnak also scored on the man advantage for Boston, which had lost two of three. Tuukka Rask made 24 saves.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Alex Ovechkin got his 24th goal of the season and then scored in the shootout to help the Washington Capitals beat the Boston Bruins 4-3 on Thursday night.
Lars Eller and Brett Connolly also scored for the Capitals, who snapped a three-game losing streak and won their 12th consecutive game over the Bruins. Washington also ended a scoring drought that had lasted almost nine full periods.
