LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Aramark Healthcare Services LLC says it's laying off 243 workers at Lafayette General Medical Center after the hospital did not renew a housekeeping contract.
Multiple media outlets report Aramark will stop operating that division at the hospital on Dec. 12. The move was announced by the hospital earlier this month but the facility didn't mention specific numbers.
