WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Andrew Kostecka scored 26 points, the last coming on a layup as time expired in overtime, to give Loyola (Md.) a 67-65 win over Holy Cross on Saturday.
The Greyhounds got the ball off a Holy Cross turnover with 22 seconds left and called a timeout at 10 seconds to set up the winning play. Kostecka took the ball on the left wing, drove through the lane for a dipsey-do layup with 0.2 seconds to go.

Swopshire leads Colgate past Holy Cross 79-74
WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Jordan Swopshire scored a season-high 22 points and Will Rayman tallied 15 points and nine rebounds to help Colgate hold off Holy Cross 79-74 in a Patriot League opener on Friday.

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Austin Butler came off the bench to score 16 points, making 4 of 7 from 3-point range, and Matt Zignorski hit 3 of 4 free throws in the final 17 seconds for his only points of the game as Holy Cross held off New Hampshire 62-58 on Saturday to snap a six-game losing streak.
Caleb Green hit three 3-pointers and scored 12, Karl Charles added 10 points and five assists and Jehyve Floyd had nine points and nine rebounds for the Crusaders (3-6).
Westmoreland high school notebook: Recruiting picks up for Latrobe junior Fenton
Recruiting is beginning to pick up for Latrobe junior basketball player Reed Fenton.
A 6-foot-3 combo guard, Fenton had a big summer with the PK Flash AAU team, which boosted interest in his game and helped prompt an invitation to visit LSU.
"I want to make some visits and see how it goes," said Fenton, who averaged 14 points last season for Latrobe, which went 19-5.
Fenton said a number of other Division I schools are courting him, including Holy Cross, Princeton, Lafayette and American.
Seven students from Katy are among 570 students named to the President's Honor Roll for the 2017 spring semester at The University of Texas at Tyler.
They are Austin Butler, Alex Cho, Jesse Goerlich, Marykate Gose, Joshua Raby, Clara Souza and Dennis Yazdanpanah.
To qualify for the President's Honor Roll at the university, a student must have completed, in one semester, 12 or more semester hours of undergraduate college-level credit with a grade of "A" in all courses.
