SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Alante Fenner scored 25 points with three 3-pointers, Javaris Jenkins added 23 points with four 3s, and Savannah State beat North Carolina Central 85-75 on Monday night.
Austin Dasent scored 11 points with seven rebounds for the Tigers (14-16, 11-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who hit 12 3-pointers and made 21 of 24 free throws.
Savannah State beats South Carolina State 111-99
SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Dexter McClanahan had 23 points, 10 rebounds and five assists Saturday night and Savannah State powered past South Carolina State 111-99 for the Tigers' seventh straight win.
Savannah State (11-13, 8-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) pushed its lead into double digits for good with a 13-4 run that made it 84-70 with 9:41 left.
The Tigers maintained a half-game lead over North Carolina A&T (7-1) in the conference standings.
Savannah St. rolls in 2nd half, beats Delaware St. 106-88
DOVER, Del. (AP) — Austin Dasent nailed seven from long range to total 21 points as Savannah State dominated the second half to thump Delaware State 106-86 on Saturday.
McClanahan, Savannah State beat Norfolk State 104-99 in OT
SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Dexter McClanahan had a career-high 37 points and Savannah State held off Norfolk State in overtime for a 104-99 win on Monday night.
The Tigers (8-13, 5-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) scored the opening basket of overtime and led the rest of the way. McClanahan's free throws with 20 seconds left solidified the lead at 102-97 and Jahir Cabeza punctuated their fourth straight conference win on a dunk with six seconds to go.
Fenner lifts Savannah State past Howard 91-90

BALTIMORE (AP) — Javaris Jenkins scored 19 points and Dexter McClanahan finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds and Savannah State downed Coppin State 80-71 on Saturday.
Ty'lik Evans made a pair of free throws to put the Tigers up 68-63 with 5:29 left before Lamar Morgan and Lucian Brownlee each buried 3-pointers and put Coppin State up a point.
Gregory, Spears help Jacksonville State to 86-71 victory
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — Jamall Gregory scored 23 points and Ashton Spears posted a double-double and Jacksonville State defeated Savannah State 86-71 on Monday.
Gregory was 9-of-14 shooting with three 3-pionters and four blocks. Spears had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Four other Gamecocks score in double figures: Nobertas Giga had 14, Malcolm Drumwright scored 13 in surpassing 1,000 career points, and Maurice Dunlap and Christian Cunningham added 12 each.
Wells hits school-record 10 3-pointers in Savannah State win
GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Casey Wells broke his own school record with 10 3-pointers and scored 32 points in Savannah State's 110-91 victory over North Carolina A&T on Saturday.
Wells was 10 of 19 from the arc with the Tigers (11-16, 8-6) putting in 20 of 53 3-point attempts and 37 of 86 overall. Dexter McClanahan scored 23 points, Austin Dasent 12 and Zach Sellers 10. Troyce Manassa grabbed 10 rebounds.
Hampton holds off Savannah State 92-89
SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Jermaine Marrow scored 22 points, hitting 9 of 10 from the free throw line, and Hampton held off Savannah State for a 92-89 win Saturday night.
Hampton (9-13, 6-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) led by as many as 14 early in the second half, but Savannah State dug in and steadily chipped away, twice cutting the deficit to a single point on 3-pointers from Troyce Manassa and Joshua Floyd in the final 77 seconds.
Manassa scores 20 as Savannah State beats UMES 87-82
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) — Troyce Manassa scored 13 of his 20 points in the final six minutes on Monday night and Savannah State closed the game with a 17-7 run to beat Maryland-Eastern Shore 87-82 to remain one game back of conference leader Morgan State.
McClanahan had 18 points, Austin Dasent scored 15 and Joshua Floyd 13 for Savannah State (10-12, 7-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), which has won six in a row.

In a tight game where the margin stayed in single digits the whole way, Savannah State got a 3-pointer from Isaiah Felder midway through the first half to go up 19-16 and never trailed again.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Dexter McClanahan scored 21 points, Troyce Manassa added 20 and Savannah State defeated Florida A&M 93-88 on Saturday night.
Joshua Floyd added 17 points and Austin Dasent 14 for the Tigers (5-12, 2-2 Mid-Eastern Atlantic), giving coach Horace Broadnax his 148th win to tie Russell Ellington as the all-time winningest coach in recorded Savannah State history, which goes back to 1961.
Smith scores 29 in Georgia Southern’s victory
SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Ike Smith scored a career-high 29 points and Georgia Southern defeated Savannah State 94-75 on Thursday night.
The Eagles (4-3) were playing their third straight game in Savannah after beating Florida A&M and Radford in the Savannah Invitational.
Smith had three 3-pointers, Tookie Brown (20 points) and Mike Hughes (14 points) each had four, and the Eagles made 13 3-pointers on 34 attempts.
Sanabria lifts St. Francis Brooklyn to win over Savannah
DESTIN, Fla. (AP) — Glenn Sanabria hit five 3-pointers for a career-high 28 points, freshman Rasheem Dunn added a career-high 20 points and St. Francis Brooklyn defeated Savannah State 97-91 on Friday in the semifinals of the Visitor's bracket of the Emerald Coast Classic.
Yunus Hopkinson added 18 points for the Terriers (1-3), who led 45-42 at the half before Sanabria and Dunn combined for 28 second-half points.
Wells’ 9 3-pointers and 27 points paces Savannah State
SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Casey Wells drilled nine 3-pointers, accounting for all of his game-high 27 points, and Savannah State won a 118-101 shootout with SIAC member Fort Valley State on Monday night.
The Tigers (2-3) nailed 23 total three pointers and shot 51.1 percent from deep on the night, including four by Dexter McClanahan and three more from Isaiah Felder. McClanahan finished with 18 points while Troyce Manassa and Austin Dasent each added 14 for Savannah State.
Savannah St. makes 24 3-pointers, rolls past Middle Georgia
SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Austin Dasent made six 3-pointers and finished with 21 points and Savannah State rolled to a 101-93 victory over NAIA member Middle Georgia State on Thursday night.
Savannah State (1-2) coach Horace Broadnax is 12-0 in home openers.
Joshua Floyd scored 17 points and Isaiah Felder had 16 for the Tigers, who shot 24 of 52 for 46-percent shooting from the field. Jahir Cabeza and Zach Sellers added 11 points apiece.
