POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Sayeed Pridgett scored 22 points as Montana stretched its win streak to nine games, topping Idaho State 80-68 on Saturday night. Kendal Manuel added 20 points for the Grizzlies.
Ahmaad Rorie had 15 points for Montana (19-6, 12-2 Big Sky Conference). Mack Anderson added 12 points.
Balint Mocsan had 18 points for the Bengals (9-15, 5-10). Alonzo Walker added 16 points. Chier Maker had seven rebounds.
Frey carries Montana St. over Idaho St. 84-76
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Harald Frey had 21 points and Keljin Blevins added 20 to help Montana State got past Idaho State 84-76 on Thursday night.
Ladan Ricketts scored 18 for Montana State (12-12, 9-5 Big Sky Conference), which won its fourth straight game. Tyler Hall added 17 points.

Adams leads S. Utah past Idaho St. 78-72
CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — Andre Adams had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead Southern Utah to a 78-72 win over Idaho State on Saturday.
Cameron Oluyitan had 14 points and seven rebounds for Southern Utah (12-10, 7-6 Big Sky Conference), which earned its fifth straight home victory. Dre Marin added 13 points. Jacob Calloway had 13 points for the home team.
Kelvin Jones had 16 points for the Bengals (9-13, 5-8). Brandon Boyd added 16 points. Balint Mocsan had 13 points.
Maker’s tap-in lifts Idaho State past N. Arizona 81-79
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — Chier Maker crashed the boards for a two-handed tap-in with .9 seconds left and lifted Idaho State to an 81-79 win over Northern Arizona on Thursday night as the Bengals survived the loss of a 19-point second-half lead.

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Gary Chivichyan scored 16 points with four 3-pointers and Idaho State held on late to edge Portland State 69-67 on Saturday night.
Brandon Boyd and Balint Mocsan added 14 points apiece for the Bengals (8-12, 4-7 Big Sky Conference), who snapped a five-game skid. Alonzo Walker had 10 points and six rebounds and Kelvin Jones led the team with 10 rebounds in addition to his seven points.
Frey ties career high and Montana St beats Idaho St 100-84
BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Harald Frey scored 31 points and Montana State hit the century mark for the first time this season beating Idaho State 104-84 on Saturday ending a three-game skid.
Frey shot 12 of 20 from the field and made six 3-pointers and tied a career high. Tyler Hall finished with 26 points.
Akoh, Rorie lead Montana past Idaho State
MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Jamar Akoh had 22 points and 17 rebounds, Montana made a pair of second-half runs stand up, and the Grizzlies defeated Idaho State 80-69 on Thursday night.
Ahmaad Rorie had 19 points and nine assists for Montana (13-6, 6-2 Big Sky) and Kendal Manuel added 16 points. The Grizzlies used only eight players and had six bench points, all from Donaven Dorsey.
Harding, Chapman pace Weber State past Idaho State 76-59.
OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Jerrick Harding scored 28 points, Brekkott Chapman added 19 points and 14 rebounds and Weber State broke away from Idaho State 76-59 Thursday night.
Harding made 10 of 16 shots and was 4 of 8 from 3-point distance, Chapman was 8 of 14 from the floor as the Wildcats shot 55 percent to Idaho State's 33 percent.
Weber State (11-6) remained tied with Northern Colorado atop the Big Sky Conference standings at 5-1. The teams meet Saturday in Ogden.
Brandon Boyd’s layup lifts Idaho State over Sacramento State
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Brandon Boyd scored the winning layup with two seconds to go to lift Idaho State over Sacramento State 72-70 on Saturday night.
Boyd drove past Chibueze Jacobs and finished from the right side of the lane . Sacramento State's Jordan Tolbert missed a half-court heave at the buzzer.

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Luke Avdalovic scored 17 points on 4-of-5 shooting from distance and led five players in double-figure scoring as Northern Arizona beat Idaho State 81-69 on Saturday night.

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Brandon Boyd scored 20 points and Idaho State rode a 16-point first-half lead to beat Southern Utah, 88-68 in a Big Sky Conference battle on Thursday night.
Idaho State rebounded from a loss at Eastern Washington on Monday where the Bengals scored a season-low 55 points and committed a season-high 17 turnovers.
Against the Thunderbirds, Idaho State shot 45.6 percent from the field (26 of 57) and knocked down 15 of 33 3-point attempts.
Peatling scores 16, E Washington closes out Idaho St 65-55
CHENEY, Wash. (AP) — Mason Peatling scored 16 points and ignited a closing 11-2 run to help Eastern Washington defeat Idaho State 65-55 on Monday and end a seven-game losing streak against Division-I opponents.
With the Eagles (3-10, 1-1 Big Sky Conference) clinging to a one-point lead as the clock dipped under three minutes, Peatling turned a perfect pick-and-roll with Tyler Kidd into a 3-point play for a 57-53 lead.
UC Santa Barbara pulls away from Idaho State in 84-65 win

Both teams started off strong as Idaho State shot 12 of 22 — including 5 of 9 from 3-point range — and made 9 of 12 foul shots in the first half for a 38-37 lead. The Gauchos were 15 of 29 including 5 of 10 from 3 before the break.
Idaho State hits 19 3-pointers, routs Bethesda 115-60
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Gary Chivichyan scored 18 points and Idaho State made a program-record 19 3-pointers in a 115-60 rout of NCCAA-member Bethesda on Monday night.
Chivichyan made 6 of 9 from long range. Balint Mocsan scored 17 points and Jared Stutzman added 16 for the Bengals (2-2), who took a school-record 45 3-point shots. The 115 points also tied for fifth all-time at Idaho State.
Bliznyuk, Eastern Washington hold off Idaho State, 74-69
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Bogdan Bliznyuk drilled a late 3-pointer to put Eastern Washington in front for good, sending the Eagles to a 74-69 Big Sky Conference victory over Idaho State Saturday night.
Bliznyuk scored 17 points, making him the fifth player in Big Sky history to score more than 2,000 career points.
The Eagles (16-13, 11-5) earn a sweep of their road trip, winning at Weber State Thursday. EWU hosts Southern Utah and Northern Arizona to close out the regular season.
Boyd’s late 3-pointer lifts Idaho State past Idaho 86-83
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Brandon Boyd made a 3-pointer with 2.2 seconds left and finished with 32 points to lead Idaho State to an 86-83 victory over Idaho on Thursday night.
Idaho State (13-13, 8-7 Big Sky Conference) has won three of its last four games. Idaho (19-8, 11-4) had its six-game win streak snapped, but remains in third place in the conference standings behind Montana (13-2) and Weber State (12-2), which lost to Eastern Washington.
Idaho State rolls in 2nd half, beats North Dakota 82-67
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Brandon Boyd scored 27 points and Novak Topalovic added 14 while grabbing 13 rebounds as Idaho State took control in the second half, beating North Dakota 82-67 on Saturday night.
The victory snapped an 11-game losing skid to North Dakota.
Boyd was 11 of 17 from the floor and had five assists for Idaho State (11-12, 6-6), which evened its Big Sky Conference record. Geno Luzcando also had 14 points with eight boards and five steals and Jared Stutzman added 10 points.
Idaho State holds off Northern Arizona 63-61

Ryan Edwards scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Deante Strickland scored 14 points for the Vikings (13-6, 3-3 Big Sky Conference), who outrebounded the Bengals 37-27 and scored 22 second-chance points off of 12 offensive rebounds.
North Dakota beats Idaho State 81-58 for 1st Big Sky win
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Cortez Seales scored 14 points, Marlon Stewart and Conner Avants added 13 apiece, and North Dakota snapped an eight-game skid with an 81-58 win over Idaho State on Thursday night.
Dale Jones scored 11 points with three 3-pointers for the Fighting Hawks (5-11, 1-4 Big Sky) who made 10 3-pointers and shot 52.5 percent from the floor in beating the Bengals for the 11th straight time.
Idaho State holds off Northern Arizona 64-60
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Jared Stutzman finished with 18 points and eight rebounds to help Idaho State hold off Northern Arizona 64-60.
Novak Topalovic added 11 points and seven boards and Balint Mocsan scored 10 for the Bengals (8-6, 3-0 Big Sky Conference), who upped their win streak to four and won for the eighth time in nine games. Idaho State is 3-0 in conference play for the first time since the 2006-07 season when they opened 5-0.

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Jared Stutzman scored 17 points with five rebounds and Idaho State beat Division II Northwest Nazarene 73-57 on Saturday night.
Novak Topalovic added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Bengals (3-5). Kyle Ingram and Balint Mocsan had 10 points apiece. Ingram also had 10 rebounds.
In the first half, five steals by Northwest Nazarene contributed to 12 Idaho State turnovers but Idaho State held on for a 39-32 edge at intermission.

Seattle survives Idaho State 73-67
SEATTLE (AP) — Matej Kavas scored 24, Jordan Hill added 19 and Seattle survived a slow start to beat Idaho State 73-67 on Monday night.
The Redhawks (3-4) struggled to pull away as neither team led by more than three in the final 10 minutes until Kavas hit a pair of free throws to make it 69-64 with 22.2 seconds left.

The Idaho State men's basketball team lost 89-77 to Eastern Washington on Saturday afternoon at Reese Court in Cheney, Washington.
Idaho State (5-23, 3-13 Big Sky Conference) shot 45.8 percent from the field and was led in scoring by Brandon Boyd's 16 points. Geno Luzcando had 15 points and 11 rebounds. Ethan Telfair had 13 points and Novak Topalovic had 10. Balint Mocsan had eight points and seven rebounds off the bench.

Idaho (14-12, 9-6 Big Sky) snapped a two-game skid, has won five of its last seven games, and is in a three-way tie for fourth place in the conference standings. Idaho State (5-22, 3-12) has lost five in a row.
Sanders was 9 of 15 from the floor, made six 3-pointers and grabbed nine rebounds. Arkadiy Mkrtychyan added 10 points for the Vandals.
ISU MBB: Bengals squander second-half lead in loss at Portland State
Despite leading for a majority of the game and being up by 10 points with seven minutes remaining, the Idaho State men's basketball team dropped a 74-69 contest at Portland State on Thursday.
Idaho State (5-18, 3-8 Big Sky Conference) led 54-44 with 7:01 remaining in the game after a 3-pointer by Balint Mocsan. The Bengals then managed two points over the next four minutes as PSU went on a 13-2 run to take a 57-56 lead with 3:27 to play.
Portland State rallies to snap four-game losing streak
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Deontae North and Zach Gengler scored 14 points apiece and Portland State rallied to beat Idaho State 74-69 on Thursday night, snapping a four-game losing streak.
De'Sean Parsons and Bryce Canda added 12 points each for the Vikings (12-10, 5-6 Big Sky), who were coming off a 130-124 triple-overtime loss to Eastern Washington.

Balint Mocsan had never been to the United States before his 18-hour flight from Hungary brought him to Pocatello last August.

Maybe the Bengals were outmatched by No. 17 Wisconsin, but their performance Wednesday wouldn’t have beaten many teams.
