MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies have acquired guard Garrett Temple from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for guard Ben McLemore, center Deyonta Davis, a future second-round pick and cash considerations.
Temple, 32, scored a career-high 8.4 points per game and shot 39.2 percent from 3-point range this past season. The 6-foot-6 guard also averaged 2.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 24.8 minutes.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Memphis Grizzlies guard Mike Conley is out indefinitely with a sore left heel and Achilles tendon, leaving Mario Chalmers to start in his place at least for now.
The Grizzlies updated Conley's status Friday after the guard consulted with the team's medical staff and other physicians. The team plans to have another update on his status in approximately two weeks.

The Grizzlies announced Tuesday that McLemore underwent surgery and would be out "an estimated 12 weeks."
The Grizzlies said McLemore got injured when he landed on another player's foot after driving to the basket during a pickup game in Los Angeles. He was diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.

A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that the Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to terms with free-agent guard Ben McLemore on a two-year deal worth about $11 million.
The two sides came to agreement on Sunday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because a contract cannot be signed until Thursday.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — With the Kings' bench depleted by injuries and coach Dave Joerger's decision to rest most of his starters, Ben McLemore thought his team might have a tough time finding a good rhythm.
After his own slow start, McLemore made it a non-issue for himself and Sacramento.
McLemore scored 21 of his 22 points in the second half to lead six players in double figures, and the Kings beat the Dallas Mavericks 98-87 on Tuesday night.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Kawhi Leonard ripped the ball away from Ben McLemore and drove the other way for a three-point play. Then the next time down the court, Leonard grabbed it away from McLemore and scored on the other end.
Those two plays turned the momentum San Antonio's way and sent the Spurs home with a very successful season-opening trip following a 102-94 victory over the Kings on Thursday night that spoiled the regular season opener at Sacramento's new downtown arena.
