Broncos activate Cravens, promote Cracraft
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos will be without starters Bradley Roby, Darian Stewart, Brandon Marshall and rookie returner DaeSean Hamilton for their game against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
The Broncos activated safety Su'a Cravens off injured reserve and replaced receiver Isaiah McKenzie with River Cracraft on Friday.
Broncos place oft-injured Menelik Watson on IR
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Menelik Watson's time in Denver is over because he's hurt and buried on the depth chart.
The Broncos placed Watson on IR Monday with a chest injury and intend to release him once he's healthy. That means the Broncos will take a $6.83 million salary cap hit this year.
Coach Vance Joseph said Billy Turner, Elijah Wilkinson and Max Garcia have all had good training camps while Watson's been in the trainer's room.

Broncos lose third right tackle to injury in five-day span
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos' injury epidemic has gotten drastically worse.
Coach Vance Joseph said Friday that Donald Stephenson tore his left calf muscle at practice a day earlier when linebacker Corey Nelson also suffered a season-ending elbow injury.
Receiver River Cracraft says he’s signed with Broncos
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Former Washington State slot receiver River Cracraft tweeted Tuesday that he's joined the injury-ravaged Denver Broncos, who lost Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie to ankle injuries last weekend.
Cracraft caught 218 passes for 2,701 yards and 20 touchdowns over four seasons for the Cougars. He went undrafted in April after missing the last three games of his senior season with a torn ACL.
Taylor, Turner, Doss inactive for Broncos against Chargers
DENVER (AP) — The Denver Broncos deactivated wide receiver Jordan Taylor, guard Billy Turner and cornerback Lorenzo Doss in addition to their four injured players for their game against the San Diego Chargers.
Also out for Denver are: quarterback Paxton Lynch (shoulder), running back Devontae Booker (wrist) and defensive ends Zach Kerr (knee) and Jared Crick (back).
Before Monday night's game, the Broncos added defensive tackle Tyrique Jarrett and waived Kyle Peko.
Peters active for Chiefs-Broncos but 3 KC starters out
DENVER (AP) — Cornerback Marcus Peters is active for Kansas City's game at Denver on Sunday night, but fellow Chiefs starters Dee Ford, Jaye Howard and Jeremy Maclin are out.
Peters is dealing with a hip injury that limited him in practice during the week. Howard also has a hip injury, Ford a strained hamstring and Maclin a pulled groin.
Other Chiefs inactives: quarterback Tyler Bray, cornerback Steen Nelson, tight end Ross Travis and O-lineman Mike Person.
CB Sean Smith out for Raiders for showdown vs. Broncos
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Oakland Raiders cornerback Sean Smith is inactive for the game against the Denver Broncos with an injured left shoulder.
Smith left last week's game with the injury and was limited during the week before being declared inactive on Sunday night. The other players inactive for Oakland are quarterback Connor Cook; cornerback Antonio Hamilton; offensive linemen Matt McCants and Vadal Alexander; tight end Ryan O'Malley; and defensive tackle Stacy McGee.
Latimer inactive for Broncos as he recovers from concussion
DENVER (AP) — Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer was inactive Monday night against Houston as he recovers from a concussion.
The third-year player out of Indiana was hurt on Oct. 13 in San Diego. Latimer has three catches for 22 yards this season.
Left tackle Russell Okung was in the starting lineup after leaving the game in San Diego in an ambulance due to a concussion.
