CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — At both ends of the court, the Charlotte Hornets had too much at the end for the Memphis Grizzlies.
Kemba Walker scored 23 points, Marvin Williams hit two key 3-pointers and Bismack Biyombo swatted away a pair of late shots as the Hornets beat the depleted Memphis Grizzlies 100-92 Friday night.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Timofey Mozgov has been traded for the second time this summer, dealt from Charlotte to Orlando in a three-team deal that also included Chicago.
The Magic sent Bismack Biyombo and two future second-round picks to Charlotte, which traded Mozgov to Orlando. The Magic also got guard Jerian Grant from the Bulls in the deal completed late Saturday night.
Chicago acquired Julyan Stone from Charlotte in the trade that saves the Bulls about $2 million.
Howard shines as Hornets top Magic 104-102
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Dwight Howard and the Charlotte Hornets needed a win heading into the All-Star break.
So it was perfect timing for a trip to Orlando.
Howard had 22 points and 13 rebounds, and the Hornets stopped a four-game slide by topping the lowly Magic 104-102 on Wednesday night.
Kemba Walker had 20 points for Charlotte on 6-for-19 shooting. Nicolas Batum added 14 points and seven assists in the Hornets' 10th straight win against the Magic.
Magic withstand late Miami rally for rare road win
MIAMI (AP) — The Orlando Magic found the right setting for a rare road win.
Mario Hezonja scored 20 points and Jonathan Simmons made the tiebreaking dunk with 1:31 remaining as the Magic beat the Miami Heat 111-109 on Monday night.
Starting for the injured Aaron Gordon, Hezonja shot 7 of 14 from the field and 4 of 9 on 3-pointers as the Magic won their third road game in the last 24. They dropped Miami to just 13-11 at home.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — With Bismack Biyombo and rookie Khem Birch providing boards and blocks, the Orlando Magic won for the first time in 2018.
The duo combined for 26 rebounds and nine blocked shots in Orlando's 108-102 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.
Statistically the worst rebounding team in the NBA, the Magic had a 51-37 edge on the boards and broke a seven-game losing streak against a team that had won five straight.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The Orlando Magic got their first win in more than three weeks thanks to major contributions from some unlikely sources.
Point guard Elfrid Payton and reserve centers Bismack Biyombo and Marreese Speights teamed up to spark the Magic to a 102-89 victory over Detroit that ended a nine-game losing streak.
Payton had 19 points, eight assists and eight rebounds, while Biyombo and Speights combined for 28 points and 18 rebounds as subs for injured starting center Nikola Vucevic.

Cousins, Porzingis, Lowry to play in NBA Africa Game
NEW YORK (AP) — DeMarcus Cousins of the New Orleans Pelicans, Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors and Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks will play for Team World in the NBA Africa Game.
Dirk Nowitzki and Kemba Walker had already been chosen as captains for Team World. The squad includes Portland's CJ McCollum, Detroit's Andre Drummond, Boston's Jaylen Brown, Denver's Wilson Chandler, New York's Courtney Lee and Leandro Barbosa, who most recently played with Phoenix.
NBA going back to Africa this summer for showcase event
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The NBA is going back to Africa.
The league and the National Basketball Players Association announced Saturday that NBA Africa Game 2017 will be held on Aug. 5 in Johannesburg. It's the second time the NBA is playing on that continent, after a sold-out event there in 2015.
Among the players planning to take part so far are Orlando's Bismack Biyombo, Portland's CJ McCollum and Denver's Emmanuel Mudiay.
