Blossomgame allegedly received $350 from aspiring agent Christian Dawkins, a defendant on trial in New York for his role in the corruption scandal.

The Tigers were 25-11 last season, matching their best-ever win total. Their 11 Atlantic Coast Conference wins were also a school record and Clemson returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since Brownell's first season in 2010-11.

Clemson to play UNC Wilmington for hurricane relief game
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson's men's basketball team is heading to one of the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Florence to raise money for those impacted by the storm.
The Tigers will play a benefit game at UNC Wilmington on Oct. 27. Part of the net proceeds from the event will go to UNC Wilmington's Campus Emergency Fund for Student Hurricane Relief.

Clemson basketball to play for US in World University Games
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson's men's basketball team will represent the United States at the World University Games in Italy next summer.
The school announced the Tigers' selection Wednesday. Clemson will compete against teams from throughout the world from July 3 to July 14 in Naples.
Clemson’s Brownell gets 6-year, $15 million contract
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Considered a recent "hot-seat" candidate, Clemson's Brad Brownell has the chance to become the longest-serving men's basketball coach in Tiger history.
Brownell received a new six-year contract on Thursday that will pay him $15 million through 2024. He's spent eight seasons at Clemson, and his previous contract was through 2021.
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Former Evansville coach Marty Simmons has joined the Clemson staff.
Tigers coach Brad Brownell also announced Wednesday the hiring of ex-Georgia player and staffer Matt Bucklin as his team's director of operations.
Simmons coached the Purple Aces for 11 seasons until being fired this past season after the team went 17-15. Simmons was 184-175 with Evansville, leading the team to three 20-win seasons and the Collegeinsider.com (CIT) championship in 2015.

Reed, the Tigers leading scoring last season, and Mitchell both announced they have withdrawn from the NBA draft and will play one more year with the Tigers.

FLORENCE, S.C. — The Florence Center turned orange and purple Wednesday evening as more than 1,300 Clemson University fans gathered for the 2018 Prowl & Growl tour stop.
Beginning in mid-April, the Prowl & Growl traveled to eight cities across South Carolina and the southeastern part of the United States. Florence was the fifth stop of the tour that included trips to the Midlands, Charleston, Greenwood and Aiken.
It was a sea of orange Tuesday evening as Clemson fans from throughout the CSRA gathered for the annual Prowl and Growl tour.
The tour stopped in Aiken County at the Student Center at Aiken Technical College and fans were abuzz as Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney made a special guest appearance, along with Clemson basketball coach Brad Brownell.

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Reserve guard Scott Spencer is leaving Clemson's basketball team.
Tigers coach Brad Brownell announced Spencer's decision to transfer on Thursday.
Spencer is a 6-foot-6 sophomore from Suffolk, Virginia, who appeared in just 25 games in his Clemson career. He averaged 1.3 points and less than a rebound a game for the Tigers.
Brownell thanked Spencer for his commitment and dedication the past two seasons.

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson point guard Shelton Mitchell has returned to campus and is in the concussion protocol after spending a night in a Florida hospital after he got hit in the head late in the 11th-ranked Tigers 81-79 overtime loss to Florida State.
The school said Thursday that Mitchell returned safely. His condition would be updated by Tigers coach Brad Brownell on Friday.
