Jaguars center Brandon Linder injures knee, out for season
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jacksonville Jaguars center Brandon Linder will have season-ending surgery on his right knee.
Linder injured his knee in Sunday's 29-26 loss at Indianapolis, and coach Doug Marrone said Monday the team captain will be placed on injured reserve.
A third-round draft pick from Miami in 2014, Linder will have missed 26 games in five years. He signed a five-year contract worth $51.7 million in July 2017. It included $24 million guaranteed.
Jags’ Fournette returns to practice, moves toward playing
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars expect running back Leonard Fournette to return to practice Wednesday, a step toward playing against AFC South rival Tennessee.
Fournette strained his right hamstring in the season opener at the New York Giants and missed last week's victory against the New England Patriots. It was the fourth game he's missed in two seasons, and the Jaguars (2-0) are undefeated without him.
Jaguars LT Cam Robinson out for season with left knee injury
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without left tackle Cam Robinson for the rest of the season because of a knee injury.
Robinson, a second-round draft pick from Alabama in 2017, injured his left knee in the first quarter of Sunday's 31-20 victory against New England and left the locker room on crutches.
Coach Doug Marrone and teammates confirmed Monday that Robinson's season is over.
Jaguars CB Ramsey set to go for opener vs Giants, Beckham
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey practiced without any limitation Friday, clearing the way for him to play against New York Giants star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in the season opener.
Ramsey was limited in practice Thursday because of right ankle soreness.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles was picked without being on the field.
Bortles had his wallet stolen from his pickup truck Wednesday night in a bizarre robbery at teammate Brandon Linder's home.
Joseph Arthur Horton, 18, was charged with auto theft, auto burglary and trespassing, according to Duval County jail records.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Leonard Fournette's thousand-yard season is costing him thousands.
Maybe even tens of thousands.
The Jacksonville Jaguars running back bought seven offensive linemen — five starters and two backups — Rolex watches.
Fournette ran 268 times for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie. He also had 36 receptions for 302 yards and a score.

The rookie rolled his ankle late in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Coach Doug Marrone says Fournette was ready to re-enter the game after getting his ankle evaluated on the sideline, but adds that "there's a lot of adrenaline that goes into that."
Marrone says "you just have to wait and see how things go the following week."

Coach Doug Marrone ruled Linder out Friday, saying Tyler Shatley will start against the Los Angeles Rams (3-2).
Marrone says Linder is not contagious and was able to do some conditioning Friday, but he declined to speculate how long the fourth-year pro would be sidelined.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars could be without starting center Brandon Linder against Baltimore on Sunday because of a sprained knee, a potentially huge setback for a team that also could be missing left tackle Kelvin Beachum.
Linder tweaked his right knee in practice Wednesday and was still in pain when he arrived at the facility Thursday. Neither Linder nor Beachum practiced Thursday. Beachum remains in the NFL's concussion protocol.
