Tyree scores 22, Mississippi rallies past Texas A&M
OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — There was no celebration for Mississippi, but there was a sigh of relief.
Ole Miss snapped a four-game losing streak, wiping out a nine-point deficit in the second half Wednesday night, to defeat Texas A&M 75-71.
"It wasn't pretty, but we found a way," Mississippi coach Kermit Davis said. "We showed some toughness and contested shots in the last 10 minutes. We were desperate. We really needed this win."

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — The holidays are a time for sharing - and Texas A&M coach Billy Kennedy is loving what he's witnessing from his players on that front.
"I like to see it when we have five, almost six guys in double figures," Kennedy said. "That means we're sharing the ball, and we're harder to defend."
Mekowulu, Mahan score 20; Texas A&M cruises past Valpo 71-49
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Texas A&M is leaning more and more on a couple of transfers to lead the way in a season of transition. Christian Mekowulu and Brandon Mahan each scored 20 points as A&M defeated Valparaiso 71-49 on Wednesday night.
The Aggies (5-4) held a 16-point lead at halftime and the Crusaders (6-6) trailed by double digits the rest of the way, in an anticlimactic second half. Bakari Evelyn led Valpo with 10 points, the lone Crusader to score in double figures.
Texas A&M bests Oregon State 67-64 in the Dam City Classic
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A long layoff didn't rattle the Aggies.
TJ Starks had 18 points and eight assists and Texas A&M won their third straight game with a 67-64 victory over Oregon State at the Dam City Classic on Saturday night.
Brandon Mahan, Wendell Mitchell and John Walker III each added 10 points for the Aggies (4-4), who hadn't played for nearly two weeks because of a cancelled game.
