Guy scored 21 points and Key had 20 Saturday as the No. 4 Cavaliers beat the Seminoles 65-52.

Alabama hoops transfer cleared to play for No. 5 Virginia
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Alabama transfer Braxton Key has received a waiver from the NCAA and will be eligible to play for No. 5 Virginia this season.
Cavaliers coach Tony Bennett made the announcement Monday. Key, a Charlotte, North Carolina, has two years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-8, 225-pound guard averaged 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 26 games for the Crimson Tide last season after missing 10 games with a knee injury.
Alabama forward Braxton Key says he will transfer
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama sophomore forward Braxton Key is leaving the team and plans to transfer.
Crimson Tide coach Avery Johnson said Friday Key has been granted his release. He says Key "certainly has a bright future, but he has to do what's best for him."
Key started 17 games last season after missing the first 10 with a knee injury. He averaged 7.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
Weatherspoon brothers lead Mississippi St past Alabama 67-63
STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) — Nick Weatherspoon had 18 points and his brother Quinndary Weatherspoon scored 13 to lead Mississippi State past Alabama 67-63 on Tuesday at Humphrey Coliseum.
Mississippi State (18-6, 6-5 Southeastern Conference) snapped a four-game losing streak to Alabama and had lost 10 of the previous 11 meetings entering Tuesday's contest.

Dazon Ingram scored 20 points, and short-handed Alabama used long-range shooting to beat Memphis 82-70 on Friday night in a season opener at the Veterans Classic.
Alabama forward Braxton Key scheduled for knee surgery
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama forward Braxton Key will have surgery on his left knee.
Crimson Tide coach Avery Johnson said after Monday night's exhibition game with Alabama-Huntsville that Key will have surgery on his meniscus Tuesday. He didn't offer a timetable for his return.
Key was a freshman All-Southeastern Conference performer last season. He led the team in scoring with 12 points a game and was second in both rebounding and assists.

Ingram scored a season-high 22 points, Key added 19 and the Crimson Tide took control down the stretch in a 70-55 victory over Mississippi Wednesday night.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — No. 23 Florida is growing but not quite grown, and coach Mike White chalked up the wildness of a victory Tuesday night to it just being an "odd game."
Keith Stone had 14 points, including a pair of key 3-pointers during the second half, and Florida rallied after squandering an 18-point lead to beat Alabama 80-67.
"I'm not sure if these same guys would have been capable of winning a game like this last season," White said. "I'm proud of my guys. We're getting better."
Alabama powers past Stetson 83-60
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Dazon Ingram finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds and four assists to lead Alabama in an 83-60 victory over Stetson on Thursday night.
The Crimson Tide (7-5) had three dunks in the first five minutes of the second half, including a tip-dunk by Donta Hall and a dunk by Braxton Key. Stetson (6-9) tried to stop the momentum with a timeout at 17:30 after Ingram's dunk made it 46-30.
Taylor sparks Alabama off bench in win over Arkansas State
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Alabama used some subtraction for addition to overcome Arkansas State 67-52 Wednesday night in the Rocket City Classic.
The Tide's Jimmie Taylor came off the bench to score 12 points and Arkansas State went over seven minutes in the second half without a field goal to enable Alabama to cruise to the win.
Braxton Key added 11 points and seven rebounds and Dazon Ingram scored 10 for the Tide.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Braxton Key scored a game-high 14 points and grabbed six rebounds and Alabama defeated Charleston Southern 76-46 on Tuesday night.
Making just his second career start, Key's first two 3-pointers sparked a 10-0 run for the Crimson Tide (4-2). Alabama quickly took control of the game and the Buccaneers (3-3) trailed by at least 10 points for the final 32 minutes of the game.
