But prosecutors agreed to a defense request to have him acquitted on mental health grounds. Golden was committed to a mental hospital after he was charged in 2013.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — University of North Dakota head men's basketball coach Brian Jones has signed a four-year contract extension.
The deal announced by Athletic Director Brian Faison on Thursday keeps Jones as the coach through the 2020-21 season. He'll be paid a base salary of $140,000 per year.
Jones ranks fourth on UND's all-time wins list with 166 as he enters his 12th season as head coach. Last season, he led the Fighting Hawks to their first NCAA Division I Tournament appearance.
NEW YORK (AP) — Anita Pallenberg, a model and actress who had children with Keith Richards and served as a muse for The Rolling Stones, has died. She was 75.
A spokesperson for Richards told The Associated Press that Pallenberg died Tuesday at St. Richard's Hospital in the city of Chichester, located in southeast England. The cause of death was not revealed, but the statement released Wednesday said Pallenberg "had been ill for some time" and that her family was by her side.
