Post Modern Marketing Expands to Lexington

April 9, 2019

LEXINGTON, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr 9, 2019--Post Modern Marketing, a leading California digital marketing and web design agency recognized as the 4 th fastest growing company in the Sacramento region, has opened a new office in Lexington, Kentucky.

In a conference call announcing the opening of the new branch, CEO Josh Rubin stated, “I want us to be making a change here in Kentucky. I want the people that work with us to be better than before they started working with us. There is a community here you don’t find in a lot of places. When I lived in Lexington, I had no doubt that I was part of the community. I’ve never forgotten that. It’s a great business community. It’s growing, it’s thriving, there’s a ton of opportunity here. We want to drive and change the conversation, and show that marketing is more than throwing ads up on billboards—it’s making a positive change in businesses with their messaging, their brand, their presence, and their reputation.”

Seeking a skilled and experienced salesman with an understanding of the local business community, Rubin turned to Ron Humes, a Lexington business owner and real estate broker. Humes, owner and operator of HomeSelect Realty and an agent/broker for more than 19 years, has been appointed as Vice President of Sales and Operations for Post Modern Marketing’s Southeast Region.

When asked what led him to join the Post Modern Marketing team, Humes said, “Josh and I worked together years ago and we built a great company. I always took a lot of pride in what we built, and still do. When he told me about this company, Post Modern Marketing, he had in Sacramento, and how they were growing and what they were doing, that interested me.”

The Lexington office represents only the latest expansion of Post Modern Marketing’s service area. In 2018, bolstered by a 174% increase in revenue between 2015 and 2017, the agency opened offices in San Diego, California and Reno, Nevada. PMM’s goal for all offices—particularly the new Lexington location—is to provide local businesses with the same top-tier marketing services which have helped its existing clients to grow and expand their own businesses.

Humes said, “Of all the digital marketing companies I could have decided to move forward with, the deciding factor was its culture. When Josh talks about his company, he talks about the people. There is a level of care that he has for his people—both clients and employees—and that impressed me. I saw that for myself when I visited the office in Sacramento. They care about each other, and they care about their clients. They listen to their clients: who are they, what’s their story, what makes them special, what are their needs, what are their goals. That’s what really struck me, and that’s why I think Post Modern Marketing will do very well in the Southeast. Their philosophy in business coincides very well with our region’s embrace of Southern hospitality.”
