Progress Partners Advises RTK.io on Its Sale to Rubicon Project

BOSTON & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 15, 2019--

Progress Partners, a Boston and New York-based M&A advisory firm, is pleased to announce that it has advised RTK.io on its sale to Rubicon Project. RTK ’s innovative header bidding technology extends Rubicon Project ’s Demand Manager product portfolio and client base.

In the coming months, Rubicon Project plans to integrate RTK’s solution with Demand Manager, both of which are based on open source framework Prebid, to address the growing needs of publishers globally. The RTK team joined Rubicon Project, adding header bidding experts and Prebid developers to Rubicon Project’s already strong team. “This acquisition accelerates the product development of Demand Manager to further help publishers regain control of their monetization and make quick, informed decisions to grow their businesses,” said Tom Kershaw, CTO of Rubicon Project.
