MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 11, 2019--beIN SPORTS today announced remarkable ratings success following three recent meetings of soccer rivals, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. beIN SPORTS’ exclusive coverage of all three live matches on both networks, beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS en Español, resulted in a combined audience reach of more than 2.7 million viewers, with two of the broadcasts airing live during weekday afternoon time slots.

The first of the matches came as part of the Copa del Rey Tournament, Semi-Final First Leg on February 6 th, followed by the Semi-Final Second Leg on February 27 th. The last of the three meetings took place on March 2 nd for LaLiga’s match, which aired live from Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, Spain. According to Nielsen Media Research, this single live broadcast achieved an average audience of 669,000 total viewers for the match (P2+) across both beIN SPORTS networks during its premier, outperforming all of the individual telecasts on ESPN 2, FOX Sports 1, and FOX Sports 2, among others.
