Washington Federal Announces 5% Increase in Its Cash Dividend

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 22, 2020--

Today, the Board of Directors of Washington Federal, Inc. (Nasdaq: WAFD) (the “Company”), parent company of Washington Federal Bank, National Association (“WaFd Bank”) announced a regular quarterly cash dividend of 22 cents per share, a 1-cent increase from the prior quarter. The dividend will be paid on February 21 st, 2020 to common stockholders of record as of February 7 th, 2020. This will be Washington Federal’s 148th consecutive quarterly cash dividend. After this increase the cash dividend yield is now 2.4%, based on the current stock price.
