September 10, 2019

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 10, 2019--

Winners of the third annual Arkansas Digital Government Transformation Awards were recognized Friday, September 6 during a ceremony and banquet held in their honor at the DoubleTree Hotel in Downtown Little Rock. This annual event hosted by the Information Network of Arkansas (INA) recognizes the achievements of Arkansas government offices that have used technology to drive innovation and make positive, measurable change in the state.

More than 125 state government leaders and public servants attended the event to accept honors.

INA opened the awards program for nominations from all state government offices in June. More than twenty state government projects were submitted, and nominations were evaluated by the INA Board, the Secretary of State, the Division of Information Systems director, the Secretary of Transformation and Shared Services, and Governor Asa Hutchinson. These individuals chose the winners and finalists in each category and presented them with awards at the event.

“I’m proud of our state and local leaders for embracing technology and transforming the way they conduct business and serve Arkansans,” said Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson. “This year’s nominees continue to impress by their innovative ideas, creativity, and determination to make their agencies more efficient and responsive. The lives of Arkansans are easier because of these award-winning initiatives that make government more accessible.”
