Blue Diamond Almond Growers to Be Featured on Almond Breeze’s Rose Parade® Float

Blue Diamond, the world’s leading almond marketer and processor, is bringing its almond growing history to life in this year’s Rose Parade ®, an iconic annual New Year’s Day event held in Pasadena, CA on January 1, 2020. This is the second year the brand will participate in the parade.

Blue Diamond’s Rose Parade float will feature Almond Breeze ® Almondmilk as the headlining Blue Diamond product. The float will show how Blue Diamond’s legacy of quality came into existence from the first seed planted in California’s rich soil, to the bloom of the expansive, vibrant orchards, to the creation of the creamy, delicious almondmilk made with the best almonds. Every single Blue Diamond almond that goes into Almond Breeze ® Almondmilk is harvested by families of growers who tend to acres of land with pride and a deep satisfaction of their work. The Blue Diamond Almond Breeze float will highlight the generations of growers who have passed on their pioneering spirit, commitment of quality, and love of sharing their craft to their families. The float will be decorated with more than 300 pounds of almonds and over 20,000 California-grown roses and flowers, weighing approximately 45,000 pounds.

The Blue Diamond Almond Breeze float will also showcase six almond orchard farmer families who are a part of Blue Diamond Growers’ cooperative of approximately 3,000 dedicated growers – currently, one of the world’s leading agricultural co-ops. The six grower families to be spotlighted on the float come from multi-generational farming families, many that have been Blue Diamond Almond Growers for decades.
