RUSTON, La. (AP) — DaQuan Bracey had 23 points as Louisiana Tech stretched its home winning streak to 11 games, narrowly defeating UTSA 72-67 on Saturday.
Ra'Shawn Langston had 13 points for Louisiana Tech (17-10, 7-7 Conference USA). Anthony Duruji added 11 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks. Mubarak Muhammed had 10 rebounds for the hosts.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Jhivvan Jackson had 28 points as UTSA won its seventh consecutive home game, easily beating Charlotte 88-43 on Thursday night.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Keaton Wallace put up 23 points and had a career-high four blocked shots and UTSA rode a strong defensive effort to a 75-60 victory over UTEP in the Conference USA opener for both schools on Thursday night.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Jeff Beverly scored 24 points and pulled down eight rebounds and UT San Antonio cruised past Old Dominion 73-55 in the regular season finale for both teams on Saturday.
The win positions the Roadrunners (13-18, 8-10) as the No. 9 seed in the Conference USA Championship. Old Dominion enters as the No. 3 seed.
Lucas O'Brien added 17 points and eight rebounds; Gino Littles had 13 points and Byron Frohnen 11.
Jon Davis’ miserable shooting night at the Convocation Center ended just in the nick of time for Charlotte.
Davis, the second-leading scorer in Conference USA, missed eight of his 12 foul shots earlier in Thursday’s game. He was benched for three minutes late in the game when UTSA was ahead and his team was floundering.
“With me being the player I am, I just have to learn how to get through adversity,” said Davis, who re-entered the game with eight seconds left. “I think I did a decent job of it.”
O’Brien’s 3-pointer gives UTSA win over FIU
MIAMI (AP) — Lucas O'Brien made his fifth 3-pointer of the game with nine seconds left and Texas-San Antonio defeated Florida International 69-67 on Thursday night to clinch a berth in the Conference USA tournament.
Michael Kessens' basket gave FIU (6-22, 2-13) a 67-66 lead with 53 seconds remaining before O'Brien made his winning shot for the Roadrunners (12-16, 7-8), who snapped a three-game losing streak.
Texas-San Antonio fends off Southern Mississippi 57-51
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Jeff Beverly scored 16 points, added seven boards and four assists, and Texas-San Antonio avenged an early season loss to Southern Mississippi with a 57-51 win on Thursday night.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Jeff Beverly had 17 points and seven rebounds, and UT San Antonio held Florida International scoreless in the final 3:52 for a 57-55 victory on Saturday.
FIU went on a 13-2 run to take a 55-52 lead but the Golden Panthers didn't score again. Byron Frohnen drove to the basket and made a layup to pull to 55-54 and the freshman hit two free throws for a 56-55 lead with 40.1 seconds to go.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) — Khari Price and Quinton Campbell scored 20 points apiece and Southern Mississippi rallied from a six-point halftime deficit to blow out Texas-San Antonio 77-59 on Thursday night.
Price finished 7 of 12 from the field, Campbell 8 of 12, and both hit two 3-pointers. Cortez Edwards added 13 points and 13 rebounds for the Golden Eagles (4-10, 1-1 Conference USA), who shot 50.9 percent while holding the Roadrunners to 38.3 percent.
UTSA survives late scare from Division II East Central

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Niem Stevenson and Keenan Evans had 16 points apiece in Texas Tech's 87-50 drubbing of the University of Texas-San Antonio Wednesday.
Stevenson's total is a career high and teammate Matthew Temple scored a career-high 13 points.
Justin Gray and Anthony Livingston finished with 10 points apiece for Texas Tech. Devon Thomas added seven points, six rebounds and six assists.
