Luther Muhammed had a career-high 15 points to help Ohio State (12-1) recover from a six-point deficit in the first half to get its sixth consecutive win.

C.J. Jackson and Musa Jallow each added 11 points, and Duane Washington Jr., and Kyle Young had 10 apiece to help the Buckeyes improve to 7-1.

Tyus Battle scored 20 points, Elijah Hughes added 18 and the Orange shot nearly 46 percent from beyond the arc as Syracuse upset No. 16 Ohio State 72-62 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Wednesday night.
It was Syracuse's second straight victory, as they improved to 4-2 on the season.

C.J. Jackson scored a career-high 25 points and the Buckeyes scored 45 points off 3-point shots on the way to a 107-61 rout of Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday — which also happened to be Holtmann's 47th birthday.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — A mob of white-clad fans stormed the court at Bryce Jordan Center and Tony Carr disappeared among them.
Carr was the most noticeable player on the court until then, scoring 30 points to lead Penn State to a 79-56 rout of No. 8 Ohio State on Thursday night.
"They threw a bunch of (defenders) at him," Penn State coach Patrick Chambers said. "Tony was super-efficient tonight. I think his teammates knew he had it going a little bit."
Ohio State pulls away to beat in-state rival Miami 72-59
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Miami kept fighting back against Ohio State and stayed in the game on Saturday, but the Buckeyes pulled away late to cap a 72-59 victory over an in-state rival.
The scrappy Redhawks pulled within three points with 6:03 left in the game, but the Buckeyes ripped off a 15-2 run on the way to the win at Value City Arena. Ohio State (11-4, 2-0 Big Ten) led by as many as 17 in the half, but couldn't put Miami away for good until the final minutes.
Furious rally powers Ohio State to 71-62 win over Michigan
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Down by 20 just before halftime Monday night, Ohio State stormed back and dominated Michigan in the second half on the way to a 71-62 victory.
The Buckeyes (7-3, 2-0 Big Ten) sprinted out on a blistering 19-3 run to begin the second half, following a 7-0 burst to end the first. A Kam Williams jumper with 3:32 left in the game tied it at 60. Ohio State turned up the defensive pressure and hit 11 free throws in the last 2:15 to pull away and complete the comeback.
Columbus, Ohio – History didn't favor Michigan.
The last 12 visits to Columbus led to 11 bitter trips back north for the Wolverines.
Monday night was just another painful chapter as Michigan blew a 20-point first-half lead and crumbled in the second half to fall to Ohio State, 71-62, at the Value City Center.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The Butler Bulldogs didn't get rattled by a double-digit deficit against Ohio State, or the presence of their former coach.
Kelan Martin hit a layup with 3.8 seconds left and Butler edged the Buckeyes 67-66 in overtime on Sunday for the final day of the Phil Knight Invitational tournament.
Jackson has 23 and Ohio State beats Stanford 79-71
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann says Sunday's game against Butler is about the players, not about him.
The Buckeyes (5-1) beat Stanford 79-71 in the Phil Knight Invitational on Friday, advancing to meet Butler in the finals. The Bulldogs beat Portland State 71-69 earlier on Friday.
Holtmann spent three seasons at Butler, taking the Bulldogs to the Sweet 16 last season, before going to Columbus.
No. 17 Gonzaga routs Ohio State 86-59 in the PK80
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Moments after walking off the court following a victory over Ohio State, Gonzaga was already thinking about No. 7 Florida.
The 17th-ranked Bulldogs will face the Gators on Friday in the Phil Knight Invitational.
"In tournaments as great as this you don't get a lot of time," Gonzaga coach Mark Few said Thursday night after his team's 86-59 win over the Buckeyes. "We've got to move on and get ready for a big one tomorrow."
Bates-Diop leads Ohio State to 82-72 win over Radford
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State got a victory and some teaching points from its 82-72 win over Radford on Sunday.
The Buckeyes (2-0) faced a strong rebounding team and held a 45-33 advantage on the boards, and also weathered the Radford (1-1) press to an extent.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Robert Johnson scored 26 points and James Blackmon Jr. added 22 points and eight rebounds as Indiana used a hot start and held off a second-half Ohio State rally to beat the Buckeyes 96-92 on Saturday afternoon.
Down by 14 at the half, Ohio State came out with a 13-3 run to start the second half and tied the game at 64 on a Jae'Sean Tate layup with just under nine minutes left.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Marc Loving was so open when he caught C.J. Jackson's inbounds pass, there was only one thing for him to do.
"Easy," he said. "Lay it in."
Loving did just that after he took Jackson's pass from under the basket. The ball bounced on the rim before dropping through with less than a second to play, giving Ohio State a 67-66 victory over Nebraska on Wednesday night.
No. 20 Purdue holds off Ohio State rally to win 76-75
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Caleb Swanigan hit a free throw with 5 seconds left and No. 20 Purdue held off an Ohio State comeback to win 76-75 on Thursday night.
Ohio State's Trevor Thompson tied the score at 75 with a layup with 15 seconds left but missed a subsequent free throw. Swanigan was fouled on the other end and hit his first free throw and missed the second. C.J. Jackson grabbed the rebound but his 3-point try at the buzzer was off the mark.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State needed a win like this, with last weekend's loss to UCLA in the rear-view mirror and the Big Ten schedule looming.
Keita Bates-Diop, Jae'Sean Tate and Kam Williams each scored 15 points as the Buckeyes Ohio took advantage of poor-shooting Youngstown State in a 77-40 blowout Tuesday night.
Trevor Thompson contributed a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds, and C.J. Jackson had eight points for Ohio State (9-3) in a game that was never in doubt.
