"Children are not distractions from more important work. They are the most important work."
Not many know this, but I am pursuing a master's degree in English literature at Governors State University. I haven't started on my thesis yet, but the plan is to write on Scottish fantasy writer George MacDonald, most known for having an influence on writers such as J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.

When Picasso met Einstein, as imagined by Steve Martin
Theres an odd theatrical subgenre in which historical figures have unexpected meetings. The allure is clear for the playwright. Youre looking for interesting people to populate the work, and if you can imagine Sigmund Freud chatting with Salvador Dali (Hysteria) or C.S. Lewis (Freuds Last Session), the battle is half won.
