NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators took care of several issues Tuesday night at the expense of the Arizona Coyotes.
None meant more than ending their power-play woes, if only for one night.
Filip Forsberg ended an 0-for-34 power-play drought as part of Nashville's three-goal second period, and the Predators beat the Coyotes 5-2 Tuesday night to snap a three-game skid at home.
Arvidsson nets hat trick as Predators rout Capitals 7-2
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Viktor Arvidsson is feeling healthier with each passing game, and the results are showing in the back of the net.
Arvidsson scored a hat trick on National Hat Day, and the Nashville Predators routed the Washington Capitals 7-2 Tuesday night to snap a two-game skid.
He could've had more, too. Nashville coach Peter Laviolette said Arvidsson hit a post and missed a couple other opportunities in close.
Sissons scores OT winner as Predators beat Canucks 4-3
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Leading by two late in the third period, the Nashville Predators nearly let this one get away.
Colton Sissons made sure that didn't happen.
After the Predators allowed a pair of goals in the final 4:05 of regulation, Sissons scored 3:05 into overtime to give them a 4-3 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday night.
Jarnkrok’s hat trick leads Predators over Kings 5-3
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Calle Jarnkrok's three goals sent many Nashville Predators fans home with a serious case of hat head.
Jarnkrok recorded his first career hat trick to lead the Predators to a 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night.
"That was a good night for him," Nashville coach Peter Laviolette said. "I thought he played terrific, forget about the goals, just the game in general. I thought he was really moving."
Rinne shines in return, Predators beat Lightning 4-1
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Pekka Rinne didn't miss a beat after being sidelined for two weeks.
He made 42 saves after sitting out five games with an injury, and the Nashville Predators beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-1 on Thursday night.
"Anytime you miss time, you're a little nervous," Rinne said. "I was happy that we played one of the top teams. You have to have a mindset that you might be busy. I felt good, and obviously very happy with the win."
Hartman scores twice as Predators beat Golden Knights 4-1
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — After a lackluster opening period by the Nashville Predators, Ryan Hartman and Kevin Fiala went to work.
Hartman scored twice in a 57-second span and Juuse Saros made 23 saves to lead Nashville to a 4-1 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night.
Calle Jarnkrok and Viktor Arvidsson also scored, and Fiala assisted on both of Hartman's goals for the Predators, who have won two of their last three.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson took advantage of some crisp passes by Ryan Johansen to help the Nashville Predators get another big win.
Forsberg scored twice, Arvidsson had a goal and an assist, and the Predators beat the New York Islanders 5-2 Saturday night.
Calle Jarnkrok and Kyle Turris also scored for Nashville, which has won four of its first five games. Juuse Saros stopped 20 shots to beat the Islanders for the second time in eight days.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Mike Fisher won't play for the Predators in Game 7 against the Winnipeg Jets because of a lower-body injury.
The team announced Fisher's absence Thursday about three hours before puck drop of the deciding game in the second-round series between the NHL's top two teams.
The Predators called Fisher day-to-day in the first update on the 37-year-old center since he left in the first period of Game 6 Monday.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators say forward Calle Jarnkrok will miss the rest of the regular season with an upper-body injury.

Jarnkrok was hurt Tuesday night in a 3-1 win over Winnipeg when checked by Jets forward Andrew Copp during the third period. Jarnkrok went to the locker room and was seen wearing a sling around his right arm leaving the arena.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Juuse Saros stepped in for Pekka Rinne and delivered a gem for Nashville.
Saros made 29 saves for his second shutout this season, P.K. Subban scored his ninth goal and the Predators beat the Minnesota Wild 3-0 on Saturday night.
Saros was quick to credit the players in front of him following the game.
"They were better in front of our net," the Finn said. "We didn't give them as much chances as yesterday. I think we were more active today."

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne loves playing against the St. Louis Blues.
Calle Jarnkrok scored his second goal in two games and Rinne made 29 saves as the Predators beat the Blues 2-1 on Wednesday night, snapping their season-high three-game losing streak.
"I don't want to jinx anything," Rinne said. "I think that's a good team, one of the top teams in the league. I think we match up pretty well. It's never about me. I think as a team we did a good job in front of me."

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Brandon Tanev's first goal in almost two months came at a perfect time for the Jets.
Tanev snapped a third-period tie with 1:26 left, sending Winnipeg to a 6-4 victory over the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night.
Nikolaj Ehlers had two goals and Adam Lowry, Patrik Laine and Blake Wheeler also scored for the Jets. Tyler Myers added three assists and Connor Hellebuyck made 30 saves.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — The way P.K. Subban sees it, he was due a little good fortune anyway.
The star defenseman scored two strange goals, including one from center ice, and the Nashville Predators routed the skidding Vancouver Canucks 7-1 on Wednesday night.
"I can think of a couple times this year where (on) more of an honest play, pucks should have went in and they didn't," Subban said. "I'll take it."
Jarnkrok, Rinne power Predators past Blue Jackets 3-1
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Nashville Predators finished off a successful early-season trip with a win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Predators won a couple in California before beating Columbus 3-1, with the only loss coming in the first game of the swing at San Jose on Nov. 1.
"We did what we had to do on the road here, so it was good," Nashville coach Peter Laviolette said. "(We) walk away with six points out of eight on a road trip this early. For me, it's good to be in the spot we're in."
Predators down Kings on Arvidsson’s breakaway goal in OT
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Nashville Predators were wobbling before Calle Jarnkrok and Viktor Arvidsson connected on a big play.
Jarnkrok stole a pass and fed Arvidsson for a breakaway goal 4:40 into overtime, sending Nashville to a 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night.
"We played a pretty good game up until the third," Predators defenseman Roman Josi said. "But at the end of the day, we got two points."

CHICAGO (AP) — The Nashville Predators got off to a slow start, picked up steam in the second period and held on at the very end.
Pekka Rinne was good all night long.
Rinne made 43 saves and Nashville killed off six power plays, helping the Predators edge the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 on Friday.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — San Jose Sharks forward Micheal Haley has been suspended for one game without pay for punching Nashville forward Calle Jarnkrok.
Haley was assessed a match penalty Saturday when he retaliated after being hit from behind into the boards by Jarnkrok. Haley got up and chased after Jarnkrok, sending him to the ice with a punch to the face,
Rinne leads Predators past Flames 3-1
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Called upon to play a bigger role, Colton Sissons did not disappoint.
Sissons scored a goal, and Pekka Rinne made 24 saves to lead the Nashville Predators over the Calgary Flames 3-1 on Thursday night.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators have signed defenseman Matt Carle to a one-year contract hours after signing forward Calle Jarnkrok to a six-year, $12 million contract through 2021-22.
Under the deals announced by the Predators on Wednesday, Carle will earn $700,000 this season while Jarnkrok will earn $1.7 million this season rising to $2.2 million in both 2019-20 and 2020-2021 before dipping to $2 million in the final year.
