NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — U.S. interim coach Dave Sarachan made six changes for Tuesday's exhibition against Mexico, inserting 18-year-old midfielder Tim Weah into the starting lineup.
Tottenham sends US player Carter-Vickers on loan to Swansea
Tottenham has sent American defender Cameron Carter-Vickers on loan to another second-tier club for the season.
The 20-year-old center back will play for Swansea, the south Wales club that was relegated from the Premier League in May. He spent the first half of last season at Sheffield United and the remainder at Ipswich in the League Championship.
Carter-Vickers remains in Tottenham's long-term plans, though, having recently signed a new contract through 2021.

CARY, N.C. (AP) — Marky Delgado was set to make his debut for the United States in Tuesday night's exhibition against Paraguay.
The 22-year-old Toronto FC midfielder was part of a young lineup that included six others with five international appearances or fewer: defender Matt Miazga (five) and Cameron Carter-Vickers (two); midfielders Wil Trapp (four), Tyler Adams (three) and Kenny Saief (two); and goalkeeper Zack Steffen (two).
CHICAGO (AP) — Mexican league midfielder Kekuta Manneh was added to the U.S. roster Monday for a March 27 exhibition against Paraguay at Cary, North Carolina.
The 27-year-old was born in Ghana and became a U.S. citizen two years ago while playing with Vancouver. He was traded to Columbus in March 2017 and signed with Pachuca in December.

BOLTON, England (AP) — American teenager Cameron Carter-Vickers scored 33 minutes into his Sheffield United debut Tuesday to clinch a 1-0 victory over Bolton in English soccer's second-tier League Championship.
The 19-year-old Carter-Vickers was sent on loan for the season to the northern English team last month by Premier League side Tottenham to get more game time.
Carter-Vickers signed a new contract at Tottenham through 2020 before his temporary move to Sheffield.
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — A United States team reduced to ten men sealed top spot in Group E of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup on Sunday with a 1-1 tie with Saudi Arabia in Daejeon, South Korea.
A Brooks Lennon first-half goal secured the vital point for the U.S. to set up a second-round showdown with New Zealand on June 1.
The Americans took the lead five minutes before the break. Luca de la Torre saw his shot saved but Brooks slotted home the rebound from close range.
CHICAGO (AP) — Philadelphia Union defender Auston Trusty has replaced Fulham's Marlon Fossey on the U.S. roster for the Under-20 World Cup.
The U.S. Soccer Federation said Wednesday that Fossey arrived at training camp with a groin injury.
The Americans open the tournament in South Korea against Ecuador on Monday, play Senegal three days later and Saudi Arabia on May 28.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Central defenders John Brooks, Matt Besler and Omar Gonzalez all were in the starting lineup for the United States' World Cup qualifier against Mexico on Friday night.
Coach Jurgen Klinsmann appeared to switch to a 3-5-2 formation that included Timmy Chandler and Fabian Johnson on the wings of a midfield with Jermaine Jones, Michael Bradley and Christian Pulisic. Jozy Altidore and Bobby Wood were up front.
