Jordan Garnett and Carson Williams added 10 points apiece for Northern Kentucky (20-8, 13-3 Horizon League).
Detroit Mercy outlasts Youngstown State 94-84
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Kameron Chatman had his ninth double-double of the season with 26 points and 11 rebounds to help Detroit Mercy beat Youngstown State 94-84 on Friday night.
Chatman was 10 of 13 from the field and made one 3-pointer and all five of his foul shots. Roschon Prince added 16 points and seven rebounds for the Titans (8-20, 4-11 Horizon), who had six score in double figures.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Cameron Morse scored a season-high 28 points and Youngstown State held on to defeat IUPUI 84-80 on Saturday.
Garrett Covington added 14 points, Jaylen Benton 12 and Tyree Robinson 11 for the Penguins (7-20, 5-9 Horizon League), who won the first meeting 85-62.
T.J. Henderson led the Jaguars (8-17, 5-9) with a career-high 22 points. Ron Patterson added 17 and Aaron Brennan 16.
Dixson, Ottey lead UIC past Youngstown State 100-75
CHICAGO (AP) — Dikembe Dixson finished with 22 points, Marcus Ottey scored 19 and the pair combined to make 16 of 17 free throws to lead Illinois-Chicago to a 100-75 victory over Youngstown State on Thursday night for its seventh straight win.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Khalil Small scored 27 points with seven rebounds and Green Bay beat Youngstown State 85-67 on Saturday.
Small was just 2 of 8 from the arc but 8 of 13 otherwise and reached 20 points for the ninth time this season. He also had four assists and three steals. The senior guard was three points shy of his career high of 30 that came against Cleveland State on Jan. 6.

Garrett Covington added 15 points with 7-for-9 shooting and Braun Hartfield and Jaylen Benton had 12 points apiece for Youngstown State, which shot 52 percent from the field and dominated at the glass 36-17. The Penguins got 23 of their points off 16 forced turnovers.

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Loudon Love and Jaylon Hall each scored 16 points to help Wright State beat Youngstown State 77-67 on Monday night for its seventh straight victory.
Cole Gentry added 14 points, and Mark Hughes and Grant Benzinger had 13 apiece for Wright State (11-5, 6-0 Horizon). Love grabbed seven rebounds and Benzinger added eight. Gentry made four of Wright State's 10 3-pointers, and had four rebounds and six assists. Hall hit his first three 3-pointers and finished 4 of 9 from the field.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Braun Hartfield scored 21 points, Cameron Morse 19 and Garrett Covington 17 and Youngstown State rallied from a 10-point second-half deficit to beat Green Bay 85-74 on Saturday night.
The Penguins (5-11, 3-0) have won three straight after snapping a nine-game losing streak and are 3-0 in the Horizon League for the first time and 3-0 in any conference start since 1997-98.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Cameron Morse scored 25 points with five 3-pointers and Braun Hatfield added 17 points as Youngstown State battled past Milwaukee 72-63 Thursday night in a seesaw game.
In a game where the teams traded scoring runs, Youngstown State (4-11, 2-0 Horizon League) had the last one, finishing the game 11-6 after Milwaukee had pulled to within five, 61-56 with 2:43 to go. Hatfield hit a 3-pointer, Garrett Covington a layup and the Penguins were 5 of 6 from the foul line.
Morse’s 3-pointer with 0.6 left gives Penguins 80-77 victory
CLEVELAND (AP) — Cameron Morse answered Bobby Word's 3-pointer with a long, contested one of his own with 0.6 seconds remaining, giving Youngstown State its first Division-I victory of the season, 80-77 over Cleveland State in a Horizon League opener on Monday.
Word tied the game for the Vikings with nine seconds left with his fifth trey but Morse made his third from the arc for the Penguins' first road win after six losses.

LOGAN, Utah (AP) — DeAngelo Isby scored a career-high 26 points and Quinn Taylor scored 13 and grabbed 10 rebounds and Utah State pulled away from Youngstown State 91-74 on Wednesday night.
Isby set his previous career high with 24 points on Dec. 9 in a 77-67 loss at Utah. Against Youngstown State he finished 9-of-13 shooting from the field including 3 of 6 from behind the 3-point arc.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kamar Baldwin scored 19 points, Paul Jorgensen and Kelan Martin had 15 apiece and Butler coasted to a 95-67 win over Youngstown State on Saturday.
Martin had 11 in the first half when the Bulldogs (8-2) made half of their 10 3-pointers and shot 57 percent overall to race to a 48-23 lead.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Jordan Davis scored 20 points and handed out five assists and Jalen Sanders finished with a double-double as Northern Colorado pulled away from Youngstown State in the second half to post an 80-67 victory in the Sanford Pentagon Showcase on Friday night.
Davis knocked down 9 of 13 shots from the floor and also blocked two shots, while Sanders tallied 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Bears (3-2), who shot 53.6 percent (30 of 56) from the floor.
Youngstown State rallies past Westminster 91-83
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Guards Cameron Morse and Garrett Covington scored 18 points each and Youngstown State rallied in the second half to turn back Division III member Westminster (Pa.) 91-83 on Tuesday night.
Morse added six assists, three rebounds and three steals, while Covington hit 8 of 10 from the floor and grabbed five rebounds for the Penguins (2-2).
Walker, De La Rosa lead Kent St. over Youngstown St. 111-78
AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Jaylin Walker and Adonis De La Rosa scored 20 points apiece as Kent State beat Youngstown State 111-78 in a season opener for both teams Saturday night.
Jalen Avery added 14 points with eight rebounds and five assists for Golden Flashes. Danny Pippen had 13 points and eight rebounds and Desmond Ridenour chipped in 12 points. Kent State averaged 55 percent shooting overall — compared to 38 percent for YSU — and had a 57-41 rebounding edge.
