LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Court documents show the sexual assault and sexual battery charges filed last week against former Wyoming defensive end Carl Granderson involve two women.
According to an affidavit filed in Albany County Circuit Court, Granderson made unwanted sexual contact with the students while they slept at an off-campus apartment in November.

Wingard earned All-Conference honors for the fourth year in a row, and was named First Team All-Mountain West for the third consecutive season.
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Three Wyoming football players have been named to the Preseason All-Mountain West Conference Team.
Senior strong safety Andrew Wingard, senior defensive end Carl Granderson and junior defensive tackle Youhanna (yoh-HAWN'-uh) Ghaifan (guh-FAWN') were all selected to the 25-member team announced Tuesday.
The team is selected by Mountain West Conference media members.
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — With quarterback Josh Allen now a member of the Buffalo Bills, the NFL Draft talk surrounding Wyoming can shift to the other side of the ball. CBS Sports' Chris Trapasso listed senior Cowboys defensive end Carl Granderson as No. 65 on his list of top 100 prospects for the 2019 draft.
Wyoming football dealing with barrage of injuries this spring, especially on D
LARAMIE — Last year, the Wyoming football team had arguably the Mountain West’s best defense. This spring, the Cowboys likely could put together a solid defense just with injured players. (Hypothetically, of course.)

Quarterback Josh Allen and kick returner Tyler Hall were voted honorable mention all-conference.
Notebook: Wyoming defensive end Carl Granderson diversifying resume with interceptions
LARAMIE — Carl Granderson’s list of accomplishments this season is impressive enough if you look simply at his sack total. The Wyoming defensive end leads the conference with 7.5, and his average of 0.94 per game is tied for seventh in the country. Throw in his tackle-for-loss numbers, and it’s even more impressive: Granderson leads the conference with 13, which is tied for 12th in the country.
Through season-ending injuries, Ryan Cummings and Carl Granderson found friendship
LARAMIE — If you're looking for Carl Granderson, try checking the opposing team's backfield. The junior defensive end is off to another strong start this season, ringing up four sacks in Wyoming's six games, tied for best in the Mountain West.
If you're looking for Ryan Cummings, be sure to check every spot on the Cowboys' offensive line. The senior has moved inside and out to accommodate the team's O-line needs this season.
LARAMIE — Wyoming defensive end Carl Granderson was named the Mountain West defensive player of the week Monday. Granderson had an interception and a safety in Wyoming's 28-23 win against Utah State.
Wyoming defensive ends put hands to use with interceptions at Utah State
LOGAN, Utah — Cassh Maluia appears to have the Midas Touch. Only, instead of turning defenders' hands to gold, he makes them catch interceptions.
"Earlier this week in practice," the Wyoming linebacker said, "I’m telling Carl, ‘You’re going to get one.’ I’m telling K.P., ‘You’re going to get one.’ They both got one, so maybe I need to start telling everybody they’re going to get one. Hopefully that’ll work."
Wyoming rallies to 28-23 win over Utah State
LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Josh Allen passed for 208 yards and a touchdown on Saturday, and Wyoming scored the final 12 points and took advantage of Utah State's five turnovers for a 28-23 win.
The Cowboys (4-2, 2-0 Mountain West) led 26-23 on Allen's 28-yard pass to C.J. Johnson with 3:45 left. The Aggies (3-4, 1-2) reached midfield on the next possession before LaJuan Hunt fumbled and Cassh Maluia recovered for Wyoming.
Wyoming defensive end’s ACL recovery ’ahead of schedule
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Last offseason, Carl Granderson was munching on eggs, oatmeal and Top Ramen to get his weight up. This offseason, the defensive end is just trying to get back on the field so he can, in the figurative sense, keep eating.
Remarkable resolve the catalyst in Wyoming’s division championship season
LARAMIE, Wyo. — It didn’t take long to see this was a resilient team.
Wyoming’s first defensive drive of the season resulted in a punt against Northern Illinois, but it ended in a Huskies touchdown. After the Cowboys had forced a fourth and 2, and then a fourth and 5 after a Northern Illinois false start, sophomore Carl Granderson hit punter Jake Ambrose long after the play and was called for a 15-yard penalty to extend the drive. Four plays later the Huskies were in the end zone.
Wyoming loses defensive lineman to injury
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming coach Craig Bohl says nose tackle Chase Appleby is more than likely out for the rest of the year after suffering a knee injury in last weekend's win against San Diego State.
Bohl says Appleby injured a ligament in the right knee. He called it a significant loss for the team.
Appleby leads Wyoming defensive linemen with 29 tackles, including six tackles for loss and two quarterback sacks.
Sidelined Wyoming players make most of recovery time
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — For a team as impervious to the injury bug as Wyoming has been this season, it can be easy to forget there still are players sidelined by injuries.
The Cowboys received a painful reminder against Air Force when defensive end Carl Granderson left the game with a season-ending ACL tear, but even before that, they were there.
Well, not there, exactly.
They weren't on the field, and when the rest of their teammates were in the weight room, they weren't there, either.
Wyoming turns to depth at defensive end
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — To no one's surprise, junior Nela Lolohea will start at one defensive end spot for the Wyoming football team this week in place of the injured sophomore Carl Granderson.
Who plays behind Lolohea, however, remains somewhat uncertain.
Senior Adam Kinder was listed as the backup Monday when Wyoming released its depth chart for Saturday's game at Nevada. Kinder has played in one game in his Wyoming career, which was in 2014 as a sophomore.
LARAMIE, Wyo. — The Wyoming football team doesn't have a game this weekend, giving the coaching staff a great opportunity to kick back, read some magazines and catch up on Netflix.
"We kind of joke around here that bye weeks aren’t off weeks as coaches," defensive ends coach A.J. Cooper said. "They’re actually a little bit more work, but that’s OK."
Wyoming's staff will look to make the most of the week by getting out and recruiting.
Wyoming defensive end Nela Lolohea taking on added role with Carl Granderson injured
LARAMIE, Wyo. — Things could’ve gone much worse Saturday for Nela Lolohea.
Per defensive ends coach A.J. Cooper’s tally, the Wyoming junior defensive end played “two to three times” as many snaps as usual against Air Force in a 35-26 win Oct. 8 after starter Carl Granderson left in the first quarter with a season-ending ACL tear.
But Lolohea had been preparing for this opportunity.

Wyoming DE Granderson out rest of season with knee injury
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming coach Craig Bohl says sophomore defensive end Carl Granderson will be sidelined for the remainder of the season because of a left knee injury.
Bohl says Granderson suffered a torn ACL during the game against Air Force last weekend.
Granderson leads the team in quarterback sacks with four this season and tackles for loss with six. He ends the season with 19 total tackles.
Wyoming nose tackle makes his final games count
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Chase Appleby probably isn't the first player you'll notice on Wyoming's defense.
You might notice safety Andrew Wingard and linebacker Lucas Wacha, what with their flowing locks and high tackle totals. You'd probably notice linebacker D.J. May and defensive end Carl Granderson, two of the defense's most imposing, athletic players. Or maybe the blazing speed of cornerback Rico Gafford is the first thing to catch your eye.
Notebook: Wyoming involved in fair share of unsportsmanlike conduct calls
LARAMIE, Wyo. — Through the first two games of 2016, the Wyoming Cowboys haven’t been shy about sticking up for themselves if they feel its necessary.
Wyoming’s defense has drawn a personal foul on each of its two opening drives this season.
Granderson puts on pounds for Wyoming
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — As is, it would be hard to miss the changes in Carl Granderson as he enters his sophomore fall camp.
But Craig Bohl is making sure everyone takes note.
The third-year Wyoming coach has repeatedly brought up Granderson's change in physique, throwing around Granderson's new weight of 243 pounds in conversation like he's getting paid by the mention.
The defensive end from Sacramento, California, is more or less the designated poster boy...
Wyoming opens fall practice
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming football team that opened camp this week should look a little bigger.
"Physically, we look different," third-year coach Craig Bohl said Monday. "We're not where we want to be yet, but some promising signs."
During the offseason, the Cowboys emphasized adding muscle under first-year strength and conditioning coach Russell Dennison.
"They exceeded" expectations," Bohl said. "(Defensive end) Carl Granderson last year played at...
