ABILENE, Texas (AP) — Jaren Lewis had 19 points to lead five Abilene Christian players in double figures as the Wildcats routed Incarnate Word 81-52 on Saturday.
Greenwood’s double-double leads SE Louisiana to win
HAMMOND, La. (AP) — Moses Greenwood had 25 points and 10 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season, helping Southeastern Louisiana beat Incarnate Word 70-64 on Wednesday night.
Greenwood was 12 of 16 from the field to move past Troy Green for seventh all-time in SLU scoring. He is just five points shy of passing Brandon Fortenberry for sixth.
South scores 25 to lift Texas A&M-CC past UIW 70-61
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Kareem South had a career-high 25 points as Texas A&M-Corpus Christi topped Incarnate Word 70-61 on Saturday night.
Jashawn Talton had 13 points for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (10-13, 5-5 Southland Conference). Elijah Schmidt added 10 points and three blocks. Emmanuel Toney had 10 points for the hosts.
Christian Peevy had 22 points for the Cardinals (6-17, 1-9), whose losing streak reached eight games. Charles Brown III added 13 points.
Gates, Charles help New Orleans to beat Incarnate Word 89-72
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Gerrale Gates and Ezekiel Charles combined to score 35 points and lead New Orleans to its third straight Southland Conference victory, beating Incarnate Word 89-72 on Saturday.
Gates was 6 of 7 from the floor and 6 of 7 from the foul line to total 18 points. Charles added 17 points while pulling down nine rebounds for New Orleans (12-9, 7-3) which improved to 10-1 at home. UNO has won seven of its last nine conference games to hold down third place in the league standings.
Robinson sparks New Orleans to 61-52 win over Incarnate Word
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Bryson Robinson buried five 3-pointers and scored 18 points and New Orleans held Incarnate Word scoreless over the final 4:07 of the game in a 61-52 victory on Saturday.
Harris scores 25, Stephen F. Austin edges Incarnate Word
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Kevon Harris scored 25 points and sank the game-winning free throws with 27 seconds remaining as Stephen F. Austin edged Incarnate Word 74-71 on Saturday, halting a three-game slide in the Southland Conference.
Harris, who surpassed 1,000 career points during the game, broke a 71-71 tie when he was fouled. Shannon Bogues made one of two from the line with two seconds remaining for insurance but Incarnate Word's final toss didn't connect as time ran out.
Short-handed Incarnate Word rallies past Nicholls, 65-58
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Charles Brown III and Antoine Smith Jr. each scored 17 points and Incarnate Word pulled way late to beat Nicholls, 65-58, and claim its first Southland Conference win of the season Saturday night.
Battling injuries throughout first two months of the season, Incarnate Word dressed just nine players for its conference opener, an 88-77 loss to McNeese. Against Nicholls the Cardinals used eight players.
Brown leads Incarnate Word over St. Francis (Ill.) 63-49
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Charles Brown III didn't miss a shot, scoring all 14 of his points in the final nine minutes to help Incarnate Word pull away and beat NAIA member St. Francis (Illinois) 63-49 on Friday night.
Jarret Gmazel's jumper with 12 minutes left gave St. Francis its last lead, 39-38. Brown then shot 5 of 5 from the field and made both free-throw attempts during a 19-7 surge and the Cardinals led 59-45 with 1:35 to play. He added a layup with 16 seconds left to cap the scoring.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Shawn Johnson scored 28 points and grabbed a career-best 17 rebounds and Incarnate Word beat Houston Baptist 83-71 on Wednesday night.
Keaton Hervey added 15 points with four rebounds and Charles Brown III chipped in 11 points for the Cardinals (7-20, 2-15 Southland Conference) who end their season hosting Abilene Christian on Saturday.

Tevin Foster was 3 of 5 from 3-point range and added 17 points for the Wildcats (15-11, 7-6 Southland), who pulled away with a 9-0 run to lead by 18 early in the second half. Abilene Christian had its largest lead at 68-49 and the Cardinals (5-17, 0-12) got no closer than the final score.
Filmore hits 7-pointers in SE Louisiana’s 86-68 victory
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Joshua Filmore made seven 3-pointers for his 21 points and Southeastern Louisiana defeated Incarnate Word 86-68 on Wednesday night.
It was the second time this season Filmore went 7 of 11 from the arc, matching his Jan. 17 effort against Houston Baptist.
The Lions (15-10, 9-3) are tied for second place in the Southland Conference with Sam Houston State and New Orleans, a half-game back of Nicholls (9-2).
