San Jose (4-14-8) won at home for the first time since March 18th, ending the longest home winless stretch in MLS history. Wondolowski is three goals shy of tying Landon Donovan for the MLS record.

ATLANTA (AP) — Josef Martinez broke the MLS season goal record with his 28th, giving Atlanta United the lead in the 74th minute in a 2-1 victory over Orlando City on Friday night.
Martinez ran past the defense for a through ball, cutting back his defender and chipping it over Joe Bendik. Martinez briefly looked back at Bendik before taking off his jersey and celebrating with teammates.

FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Valeri Qazaishvili scored twice and the San Jose Earthquakes snapped a 12-game winless streak with a 3-1 victory over FC Dallas on Saturday night.
Qazaishvili opened the scoring for the Quakes (3-12-7) in the 19th minute, hurdling Jesse Gonzalez after the goalkeeper came off his line but failed to stop Shea Salinas's long ball. Qazaishvili then outmaneuvered defender Matt Hedges before finishing from near the end line.
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Raul Ruidiaz scored his first MLS goal in his first league start to help the Seattle Sounders beat the last-place San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 on Wednesday night.
Seattle (6-9-5) is unbeaten in its last five games. San Jose (2-12-6) has gone 11 games without a win, including three straight losses.
Ruidiaz chested down a pass from Cristian Roldan near the penalty area on a breakaway and one-touched a shot inside the far post in the 62nd minute.
