Sean Couturier has hat trick, Flyers beat Bruins 4-3
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Sean Couturier had a hat trick, Carter Hart stopped 39 shots and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Boston Bruins 4-3 on Wednesday night.
Couturier scored twice within 90 seconds in the second period and sealed the win with his 19th goal late in the third for his first career regular-season hat trick after doing it twice in the playoffs. He gave the Flyers hat tricks in consecutive games after James van Riemsdyk did it Monday night.
Brad Richardson joins Coyotes’ long list of injured players
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona has placed center Brad Richardson on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, running the Coyotes' list of missing regulars to six.
Richardson was injured in Arizona's 4-3 overtime victory over Vancouver on Thursday and the Coyotes said he is week to week.
He joins goalie Antti Raanta, forwards Nick Schmaltz, Michael Grabner, Christian Fischer and defenseman Jason Demers out with injuries.
Kinkaid stops 21 shots, Devils beat Coyotes 3-2 in shootout
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Already down a goalie, the New Jersey Devils watched MacKenzie Blackwood leave in the first period with a lower-body injury.
Keith Kinkaid filled in nicely for someone who hadn't played in four games.
Kinkaid stopped 21 shots and had two saves in a shootout, lifting the New Jersey Devils to a 3-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Friday night.
Richardson’s 2 late goals lead Coyotes past Avalanche 6-4
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Brad Richardson and the Arizona Coyotes were tasked with trying to limit the productivity of the Colorado Avalanche's high-scoring top line.
They did just enough Saturday night, and Richardson provided the offense the Coyotes needed down the stretch, scoring twice in the final 3:39 in a 6-4 win over Colorado.
Fischer nets hat trick to lift Coyotes over Blue Jackets 4-1
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Christian Fischer celebrated his first career hat trick, and Arizona Coyotes teammate Derek Stepan will get a free dinner.
Stepan set up the 21-year-old Fischer on goals in all three periods Tuesday night as Arizona rallied to beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1. Stepan's huge role wasn't lost on Fischer, who picked up his first hat trick in his 94th NHL game. He'd never ever had a two-goal game before.
CALGARY, Alberta (AP) — Kevin Connauton believes he's playing the best hockey of his career.
Connauton had a goal and an assist in continue his superb second half, and the Arizona Coyotes beat the Calgary Flames 4-1 on Tuesday night.
Connauton has 10 goals in 30 games since the All-Star break, tying him with Tampa Bay's Victor Hedman for most among defenseman since Jan. 28. The 28-year-old had just one goal in the first 42 games this year.
Coyotes snap losing streak to Blues with 5-2 win
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Christian Dvorak had no idea the two goals he scored Saturday night helped the Arizona Coyotes end a long run of futility against the St. Louis Blues.
"Wow, we lost 12 in a row to them?" Dvorak said. "That makes this even better."
Fischer scores in OT, Coyotes beat Predators 3-2
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The first 41 games of the season were a struggle for the Arizona Coyotes, who only won nine times and earned 23 points.
The second 41 got off to a positive start, however.
Christian Fischer scored on the rebound off Jakob Chychrun's shot at 2:41 of overtime to give the Coyotes a 3-2 comeback victory over the Nashville Predators on Thursday night.
The goal was reviewed, then challenged by Nashville and reviewed again. Arizona won for the third time in six games.

Arizona had lost seven in a row and 10 of 11. Christian Fischer tied the game with 1:01 to go in regulation, and Christian Dvorak also scored for the Coyotes.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Christian Fischer broke out of scoring slump for the resurgent Arizona Coyotes.
Fischer scored on a rebound 2:43 into overtime to give the Arizona Coyotes a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night.
"I've been down on myself the last three of four games because I'm not scoring," Fischer said. "I've had all the chances in the world but couldn't put them home."
Coyotes rally to beat Canadiens 5-4 for first regulation win
MONTREAL (AP) — Montreal coach Claude Julien called the Canadiens' loss to the lowly Arizona Coyotes "embarrassing."
The Canadiens blew three leads and the Coyotes won 5-4 on Thursday night for their first regulation victory of the season. Derek Stepan and Christian Fischer scored power-play goals in the third period for Arizona.
Carlson scores in OT, Caps beat Coyotes 3-2 for 3rd straight
WASHINGTON (AP) — John Carlson scored the winner in overtime and the Washington Capitals came back to beat the Arizona Coyotes 3-2 on Monday night for their first three-game winning streak of the season.
Carlson scored with 45.4 seconds left on the clock in OT, his first goal in 16 games, after T.J. Oshie whiffed on his shot attempt. Devante Smith-Pelly and Alex Ovechkin scored in regulation for Washington, which got 24 saves from Braden Holtby.
Coyotes damage Lightning’s playoff hopes with 5-3 win
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — The Arizona Coyotes, not the Tampa Bay Lightning, looked like the team chasing a postseason spot.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson had a goal and an assist during Arizona's three-goal third period, Louis Domingue stopped 36 shots and the Coyotes damaged Tampa Bay's playoff hopes with a 5-3 victory Tuesday night.
Arizona, with the NHL's second-worst record, also got goals from Christian Fischer, Christian Dvorak, Radim Vrbata and Connor Murphy.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Christian Fischer picked right up from where he left off in the minors.
Just called up from Tucson of the AHL, the 6-foot-2, 19-year-old right wing scored on his first NHL shot to help the Arizona Coyotes snap a four-game losing streak and beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-3 on Saturday night.
"That's my game, just getting to the net there, and that's what I've been doing so far in Tucson," he said, "so it just happened that was the goal it happened."
