NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee State linebacker Christion Abercrombie will be discharged from Vanderbilt University Medical Center and transferred to an Atlanta facility as he continues his recovery from a serious head injury.

University officials issued a statement Saturday night saying Abercrombie was being observed. Tigers coach Rod Reed headed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to check on the linebacker after the game.

Tennessee State adds ex-Tide LB Brown, ex-Gophers QB Croft
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee State has added four Football Bowl Subdivision transfers with the arrivals of former Alabama linebacker Mekhi Brown, Minnesota quarterback Demry Croft, Illinois linebacker Christion Abercrombie and Connecticut defensive back John Robinson IV.
All four are eligible to participate in spring practice with Tennessee State this year.
