Giants activate Latimer off injured reserve, put Hamilton on
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants have activated receiver Cody Latimer off injured reserve and placed defensive back Antonio Hamilton on the list with a quad problem.
Latimer played in four games before going on injured reserve on Oct. 16 with a hamstring injury. He caught six passes for 108 yards.
With receivers Odell Beckham Jr. (quad) and Russell Shepard (ankle) uncertain for Sunday's game against Indianapolis (8-6), Latimer's return is timely.
Giants sign WR Fowler, add Eligwe, Haley from practice squad
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants have signed former Denver Broncos receiver Bennie Fowler and placed linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong and wide receiver Cody Latimer on injured reserve.
The moves were among a number made by the Giants (1-5) on Tuesday as they returned to practice after a long weekend following a Thursday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Broncos Training Camp Capsule
DENVER BRONCOS (5-11)
OPEN CAMP: July 27, Englewood, Colorado
LAST YEAR: Coach Vance Joseph's first year was debacle in every phase. Denver's anemic offense cycled through three QBs during soured season that included eight-game skid, franchise's longest in half-century, and featured eight double-digit losses. Exhausted defense surrendered too many points and special teams were anything but. GM John Elway thought about firing Joseph but decided to give him second chance and then bolstered roster.
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants have re-signed defensive end Kerry Wynn and added three other free agents, including a wide receiver who has returned kickoffs.
The Giants announced the moves Monday with the newcomers being receiver Cody Latimer, defensive end Josh Mauro and cornerback B.W. Webb.

Broncos rule out receivers Sanders and Latimer
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Injured wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Cody Latimer didn't make the Denver Broncos' trip to Washington and will miss Sunday's game against the Redskins.
Sanders has been dealing with a sprained ankle and Latimer a bruised thigh. They were listed as questionable this week.
Injury-riddled Broncos sign linebacker from practice squad
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos promoted linebacker Kevin Snyder to their active roster Saturday with second-leading tackler Todd Davis nursing a high ankle sprain.
Davis is listed as questionable for Monday night when the Broncos (3-3) visit the Kansas City Chiefs (5-2). He missed practice all week.
Broncos take a depleted roster to California
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos are taking a depleted roster to San Francisco, where they'll practice twice with the 49ers in advance of their preseason game Saturday.
"I know we're going to compete, but the main thing is keeping both sides healthy," receiver Demaryius Thomas said. "We've had some people go down."
Broncos’ Elway hoping to buck trend with pick of Walker
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — With the 51st pick of the NFL draft, No. 7 was looking for a change of fortune in his seventh season as architect of the Denver Broncos.
General manager John Elway has grabbed some first-round steals and some late-round gems.
It's Round 2 that's been his bugaboo.
After starting his tenure with solid second-round picks in Rahim Moore, Orlando Franklin, Derek Wolfe and Brock Osweiler, Elway's last four second-round picks proved more head-scratcher than headliner.
Peters active for Chiefs-Broncos but 3 KC starters out
DENVER (AP) — Cornerback Marcus Peters is active for Kansas City's game at Denver on Sunday night, but fellow Chiefs starters Dee Ford, Jaye Howard and Jeremy Maclin are out.
Peters is dealing with a hip injury that limited him in practice during the week. Howard also has a hip injury, Ford a strained hamstring and Maclin a pulled groin.
Other Chiefs inactives: quarterback Tyler Bray, cornerback Steen Nelson, tight end Ross Travis and O-lineman Mike Person.
CB Sean Smith out for Raiders for showdown vs. Broncos
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Oakland Raiders cornerback Sean Smith is inactive for the game against the Denver Broncos with an injured left shoulder.
Smith left last week's game with the injury and was limited during the week before being declared inactive on Sunday night. The other players inactive for Oakland are quarterback Connor Cook; cornerback Antonio Hamilton; offensive linemen Matt McCants and Vadal Alexander; tight end Ryan O'Malley; and defensive tackle Stacy McGee.
Latimer inactive for Broncos as he recovers from concussion
DENVER (AP) — Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer was inactive Monday night against Houston as he recovers from a concussion.
The third-year player out of Indiana was hurt on Oct. 13 in San Diego. Latimer has three catches for 22 yards this season.
Left tackle Russell Okung was in the starting lineup after leaving the game in San Diego in an ambulance due to a concussion.
Siemian impressed Broncos with steadiness and spunk
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Trevor Siemian won the Denver Broncos starting quarterback job through a mixture of steadiness and spunk.
He put in persistent work over the last six months while fans fretted, pundits pounced and the front office scoured the landscape in search of Peyton Manning's successor.
It was one throw in particular, though, that confirmed the man for the job had been right under their noses all along.
Young WRs impressing at Broncos training camp
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Bennie Fowler isn't content to be known as the guy who caught Peyton Manning's last NFL pass. With the work he's putting in during training camp, the Denver Broncos wideout is planning on hauling in more receptions this season.
Fowler is one of several young receivers competing for the No. 3 spot behind veterans Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders in coach Gary Kubiak's offense. Cody Latimer, Jordan Norwood and Jordan Taylor also have made an...
Denver Broncos have a wealth of options at wide receiver
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Denver coach Gary Kubiak says that in his 32 years in the NFL he's never seen this much depth or deftness at wide receiver.
"I've said from day one: that really has the chance to be the strength of our team," Kubiak said Sunday. "It's going to be really hard to make our team at that position."
Last year, there were Pro Bowlers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders and not much else, as those two pass catchers accounted for 80 percent of the...
