BALTIMORE (AP) — The Los Angeles Chargers will be without injured linebacker Jatavis Brown in their playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Brown has an ankle injury and was placed on the inactive list Sunday. He is fifth on the team with 78 tackles.
Los Angeles will have running back Austin Ekeler, who missed the previous game against the Ravens two weeks ago but returns from a groin injury.
PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals released fourth-round draft pick guard Dorian Johnson, guard Cole Toner, a former fifth-round draft pick, along with former University of Arizona star inside linebacker Scooby Wright III and 28 others Saturday to reach the NFL's 53-man limit.
Also released, as had been reported Friday, was veteran running back Chris Johnson.
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona quarterback Carson Palmer was active Sunday night against Seattle after being listed as questionable Friday with a hamstring injury.
The Seahawks were without safety Kam Chancellor and the Cardinals didn't have wide receiver John Brown. Chancellor has a groin injury and Brown has been diagnosed with sickle cell traits that cause pain in his legs.
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The New England Patriots made it official on Sunday and listed All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski as inactive for Sunday night's opener against the Arizona Cardinals.
Gronkowski did not make the trip because of a hamstring injury. The Patriots also did not bring starting left tackle Nate Solder (hamstring) and starting right guard Jonathan Cooper (foot).
