The game was the first for the Aces after they decided not to play in Washington on Friday night because of travel woes that took the team nearly 26 hours to get to D.C. That game was canceled and the teams are still waiting for the league to decide what to do with the game.

Sun trade Bentley to Dream for Clarendon
NEW YORK (AP) — The Connecticut Sun have traded guard Alex Bentley to the Atlanta Dream for Layshia Clarendon and a second-round pick in 2019 on Monday.
Bentley is averaging 10 points for the Sun this season as the team's sixth player. The former All-Star was drafted by the Atlanta Dream in 2013 with the No. 13 pick before being traded to Connecticut as part of a three-team deal with Washington in 2014.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A'ja Wilson scored 34 points, including a late three-point play, and grabbed 14 rebounds to help the Las Vegas Aces rally from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit and beat the Connecticut Sun 94-90 on Saturday night.

Seattle had two four-point possessions in the fourth quarter, the last for a 93-84 lead. The Storm had only one field goal in the final five minutes but made enough free throws.

"I've never hit a game-winner, that was my first time," she said.
Stricklen didn't start for the first time this season as Sun coach Curt Miller decided to go with a bigger lineup. She didn't pout and was ready when her number was called at the end of the game.

ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Dream have traded forward Bria Holmes to the Connecticut Sun for two second-round draft picks.
The Dream acquired the No. 15 overall pick in Thursday night's draft as well as a second-round pick in 2019.
Holmes is a Connecticut native who was the No. 11 overall selection by Atlanta in the 2016 draft. She is sitting out the 2018 season because of her pregnancy.
Former Connecticut assistant Nicki Collen named Dream coach
Nicki Collen is headed south for her first job as a head coach.
After two years as an assistant to Curt Miller with the Connecticut Sun, Collen is taking over in Atlanta.
"I am humbled at the opportunity to become the next head coach of the Atlanta Dream and incredibly proud to be associated with a league that empowers women in such a positive way," Collen said Monday.

MGM-Mohegan Sun rivalry to play out on WNBA courts, too
Rivals in a pitched battle over Connecticut casino-goers, Mohegan Sun and MGM Resorts International will soon compete in another arena — or, quite literally, arenas — as owners of WNBA teams.
MGM Resorts, it was announced Tuesday, has bought the WNBA's San Antonio Stars and will move them to Las Vegas, where they'll play at MGM's Mandalay Bay Events Center. The arrangement mirrors Mohegan Sun's ownership of the Connecticut Sun, which has been playing at Mohegan Sun Arena the past 15 years.
Connecticut Sun extend contract of coach-of-the-year Miller
UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) — WNBA coach of the year Curt Miller has received a contract extension from the Connecticut Sun.
Miller, who also serves as the team's general manager, was heading into the last year of a three-year deal.
The team announced the new deal Tuesday but did not disclose financial terms. The contract is designed to keep Miller in Connecticut through the 2021 season.
