NEW YORK (AP) — Eric Bana is bringing the popular true crime podcast "Dirty John" to TV with a weekly series on Bravo.
Bana plays John Meehan and Connie Britton plays Debra Newell, a couple in California who met online and fell in love. John claimed to be a doctor, just back from volunteering his services for Doctors Without Borders in Iraq.

Man charged in North Carolina double shooting
NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH, N.C. (AP) — Authorities say a man has been accused in the shooting deaths of his mother and another man in a North Carolina beach town.
A news release from the North Topsail Beach Police Department says 28-year-old McKinsey Ray Britton was arrested Monday. The statement says officers responding to a 911 call at a home near N.C. Highway 210 were met by Britton, and that he told them he had shot two people inside the home.
Stars, fans say goodbye to “Nashville” in final season
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — "Nashville" survived one previous cancellation, but the final curtain call is coming for the TV melodrama about the trials and tribulations of country music stars.
Lionsgate announced in November that after 120 episodes, the time had come for the series to end. The sixth and final season premieres Jan. 4 on CMT. It will air in two parts, with the finale coming this summer.
