Titans linebacker Morgan out ‘few weeks,’ Spain day to day
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Titans coach Mike Vrabel says linebacker Derrick Morgan probably will miss "a few weeks" after hurting a shoulder against the Baltimore Ravens, though left guard Quinton Spain is day to day after hurting his right shoulder.
Vrabel said Monday that it's unfortunate the Titans won't have Morgan for a few weeks as a veteran guy who studies and takes care of his body.
Patriots RBs Burkhead, Gillislee inactive against Titans
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — The Patriots will be without running backs Rex Burkhead and Mike Gillislee when they host the Titans in the divisional round Saturday night.
Both Burkhead and Gillislee are out with knee injuries. With them out, the primary rushing duties will fall to Dion Lewis and James White.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Pittsburgh Steelers will have new faces in the secondary against Tennessee.
Cornerback Joe Haden is out indefinitely with a fractured left leg. The team made safety Mike Mitchell inactive when his ankle didn't heal in time to face the Titans. Coty Sensabaugh will start in place of Haden. Rob Golden will fill in for Mitchell. The Steelers have the second-ranked pass defense in the NFL.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have signed tight end Jonnu Smith, a third-round draft pick from Florida International.
Smith caught 178 passes for 2,001 yards and 18 touchdowns during his college career. His most productive season came in 2014, when he had 61 receptions for 710 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Titans selected Smith with the 100th overall pick in the draft.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have signed sixth-round draft pick Corey Levin of Chattanooga and three seventh-round selections to contracts.
The team announced Friday it has signed Levin and outside linebacker Josh Carraway, offensive tackle Brad Seaton and running back Khalfani Muhammad.
Levin is projected to play either center or guard for the Titans. He started 51 games at Chattanooga while playing both guard and tackle.
